It was good. Good and busy. Got a rude awakening on a progress report on my youngest today. 1 A, 1 B, 2 C's and 3 F's. How can you flunk Phys Ed?????? Too lazy to dress out, apparently.

Took away the cell phone, facebook, and her freedom. She is grounded during the week, and only after she has proven all of the homework... and dishes... are done, can she go out Friday and Saturday.

Sometimes it's the teacher. They can be boring, and dull, so the kids don't do well!
Sometimes they have a problem with other kids, don't want to share with Dad.
Sometimes they just hate a subject.
Sometimes you just have to find a way to motivate them.
Reward for extra effort is usually good; that could be privileges or goodies. Both work well.
There's always the boot in the ...., but that's a last resort! LOL!

It's laziness, ..., and being 15. All three of those add up to just about nothing when it comes to motivation and performance. Extra effort. I would like to see any effort!!! Its tough being a teen nowdays.
