About my bottles going splat? Of course I was joking. That was in response to deej posting that he'd never said "it's not my problem."oh..Poeia..i had so hoped you were joking....
MG, I fill my tanks from the top too, and close the bottom off when i put the top back on too. that does force the juice into the carto. and it's ever so much easier
Once the mailman delivers it, it isn't his problem (unless he packed it so badly that everything leaked and Deej does NOT pack his liquids badly.) And I'd have to be pretty stupid to open the box, take it out to the terrace and drop all the contents over the shoulder-high railing.
Stupid question -- any possibility they are a different PG/VG ratio than you usually get?
No. Washed out tank, let it dry and put in new carto. Using a different juice and no problems. I can only conclude something in the Cherry Blossom did something to the internals of the cartos (2 brand new ones leaked from inside). Maybe a plastic airtube or seal that got eaten away?

I mean, it's certainly valid to say that once I've handed it over to the P.O. my responsibility regarding an order has ended. And that seems to be the position of most vendors.
I thought having a vendor who'd take responsibility for getting your order to you in good time and good condition, and acting when it doesn't meet either of those conditions would be something people wanted. That was, after all, the whole context of my previous post about not using the phrase "not my problem".
But, if I'm wrong about that, I'm wrong.

It is certainly possible that Smok has changed the way they make (or cause to be made) the tank cores. It wouldn't be the first time, actually.
I'll attempt to reproduce what you're experiencing once I can get my hands on a glass tank. Until then, I am forced to recommend that you not use Cherry Blossom in a glass tank with a Smok DCC Tank Core.
You may also want to check with the vendor who supplied you with the cores to see if they've had any other reports of core failure like that.

your customer service is amazing...and you do pack well. i wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that the bottle in an unopened package that you packed could survive a 13 story drop...(nor would i be surprised if you took responsibility if someone did drop their bottles of a balcony... it's above and beyond, and very much appreciated)
