WAIT !!! Seriously ??? Burger King or Sonic ???

Tell me it's true !!!!!!! The same mystery meat tacos ??????

:drool::drool:

I remember when BK had tacos like that......wonder if ours brought them back too :?:

I know our Sonic doesn't.

Hi everyone :):)

We were without JITB for several years here in ABQ. During that time they were at BK and Sonic at various times. Same great flavor, same dollar menu price for two. :)

ETA: BK had the very annoying habit of shoving both taco's into one paper sleeve.... cheap asturds!

If you have tried a JITB taco, you fall into one of two camps. You either love them or hate them. For me, its a double dose of heaven for just 99 cents. :)

The taco consists of a pre-assembled corn tortilla with about a tablespoon of very finely ground, seasoned mystery meat, folded and frozen. These are dunked in the deep-fat fryer for about 45 seconds. Then raised, drained, and stuffed with half a slice of american cheese, a tablespoon of shredded head lettuce, and a squirt of hot sauce.

So, what makes them so special?
1. Its fried. The shells are grunchy (a combination of greasy and crunchy)
2. Well seasoned, tasty meat pate is easy to inhale as virtually no chewing is required!
3. American cheese food product on a taco... Lets face it, that's freakin' brilliant!

And at 386 calories for $.99 cents, an incredible, heart stopping bargain.

If there is no JITB in your town, you might find these at Burger King or Sonic, (however, they wont be called Jack in the Box tacos).

Just thought I'd give an update on how my taste buds are reacting to the 12 bottles of deejStuff juice I recently purchased.

1. Apocalyptic Lemonade - Those that watched my video review will know my thoughts on this. A great all round juice, not too sweet, tastes just like lemonade. Can (and has been) be vaped all day. My 30ml bottle is now empty. 9/10

2. Raspberry Lemonade - As above with a natural raspberry flavour, very nice. About 10ml left. 9/10

3. Bittersweet Tears of the Apocalypse - A very good bitter chocolate with a hint of strawberry. The strawberry in this isn't overpowering which is why I like it so much. I found that after vaping it straight for a couple of hours it did get a bit dry/bitter on my palate, so I added a couple of drops of sweetener, which turned it from a great juice I could vape for a couple of hours, to a great juice I could vape all day. About 5ml left. 9.5/10

4. Strawberry Champagne - Great Champagne flavour with a nice Strawberry background. This the sweetest of the juices I've tried so far. I can't vape it all day but it must be ok because I've only got about 5ml left. 8/10

5. Peppermint - A great change up juice for me. Lovely strong peppermint flavour which I find really refreshing in short bursts. I vape this for about an hour at a time, two or three times per week. A vital ingredient in my juice box. 8/10

6. Blend4 - I really don't like this one. The vapor and throat hit are both great, I just don't like the grassy tobacco flavour I get coming through. I did try it fairly early on, so i'll let it steep and try again fornication the track. 4/10 for now.

7. Vanilla Coke - very happy with this one, but haven't given it much carto time due to digging the other flavours so much. 7/10

I haven't got to the other 5 juices yet (other than a quick taste) so i'll report back after I've given them a decent run. I've got 2 cheesecakes, the serenity surprise, RY4 and Oba Oba still to try.

Overall very happy indeed. :vapor:

Adam, while I haven't tried Deej's peppermint yet, in general it's a flavor that saves many a mistake. If, after you let it age a bit more, you still don't like the Blend 4, try adding a tiny bit of peppermint to it. (I say "a tiny bit" because peppermint will, if you let it, drown out every other flavor around. You want it to enhance the other flavor, not replace it.)
