If it's gunked up and rubbing alcohol doesn't get in there, you could try Quick Drying Electronic Cleaner/Contact Cleaner. Recommended for sticky buttons on my other mod.

1) Please make the onions optional. I'll opt no on them.
2) I prefer nova to lox -- less salty
3) What type of bagel? My favorite is pumpernickel. Cinnamon raisin is great, too, but that's more an "eat by itself" bagel than a sandwich.

mmmmmmm... pizza bagels....

Toss a couple in with my next order. Thanks Deej. LOL

That's putting stuff on a bagel (which is good.) I'm talking about the flavor of the bagel itself.

My favorites are onion bagel and everything bagel. When I was a kid (very long time ago) my favorite was an egg bagel. Now if you are going for a dessert bagel blueberry and strawberry are the ones I grab for. But alas, here in Bangkok what passes for a bagel is a weak substitute for the Western Bagels I ate growing up in the San Fernando Valley. There is a new bagel place here but every time I have tried to go it was closed. One chain of upscale markets called Villa Markets has bagels but they over the equivalent of $2.00 for three bagels and more dry and bready then they should be. I get them when I am desperate. The funny thing is the locally made cream cheese (Carolina Brand) tastes just as good as Kraft Philly to me. The first time I bought it I was skeptical but happily surprised. We have no shortage of smoked salmon here (lots of Norwegians in Thailand for some reason) but it is a milder smoke than I am used to from the States (LASCO rules), but it will do. The problem is the BBQ Cod, which was my favorite as a kid. I could barely find any when I lived in Las Vegas and here in Bangkok forget about it. Oh well, so much for talking about bagels and fish. Sorry apocalyptic kitty.

Deej,

I felt bad the fire kitty could not eat peanut butter, so I made two icons for him. You can use them if you want or not. Up to you. Since the fire kitty does not not like "image coming soon" I thought he could use these.

Sweet!!!!!! Thank you!

I can't wait! I suppose the game has changed to DeejStalking to the tune of, "is it in yet? is it in yet?"

Not yet... :) Wednesday is the likely target...

I'm sure we all have our own issues, but here is my current one:
So I've ordered 12 bottles of 30ml deejstuff about one month ago, I'm working my way through them slow and steady, then all of a sudden it's anniversary time. So as any deejStuff fan would do, I've gone and ordered another 18 x 30ml bottles. Now today i've gone and cracked open a bottle of Bluemel Caraberry from last months order, and of course, it's totally blown me away. I know I'm going to roll this bottle in a week and i'll be looking for more. My problem is I didn't order any in my last order, which means I'm going to have to make another order this month. Sorry deej...

Deej, don't bother adding Marshmallow Peanut Butter to the PB lineup. I had a custom Fluffernutter™ blend made elsewhere. It worked -- you could taste the two flavors and they blended well -- but it was completely bland and forgettable.

ETA: But don't forget raspberry "jam." That's the best jelly for a PB&J. (But, if I order a PB, I think I'll start with apricot.)

jackbox, those overpriced ones sound like real, traditional bagels. As one person put it, when you finish eating a bagel your jaw is supposed to ache. They've all but disappeared, even in NYC, replaced by the fluffy roll with a hole in it type. Those are good, but not the real thing. I've never had BBQ Cod. I want!

BBQ cod is orange, greasy and delicious. If you live on the West Coast some stores carry it from LASCO (Los Angeles Smoking Company) or a traditional Jewish deli should have. Some chain delis like Jerry's used to have it but dropped it from their menus about ten years ago. On the West Coast Von's Supermarkets carried it the last time I lived there (about five years ago) so you might want to check them first.

In the U.S. there are two different schools of thought on bagels. East coast bagels are traditionally steamed before baking and result in a more bready bagel. On the West coast they developed a chewier bagel that is boiled (just like a good soft pretzel should be) before it is baked. It results in a denser, chewier bagel that is my preference. I grew up eating Western Bagels, a chain started in Los Angeles and missed out on the big bagel boon that Einstein's and Noah's took advantage of. Einstein's and Noah's merged a while back and they bake East coast style steamed bagels, but they are still okay.

I forgive you, Adam...

I couldn't help it... I tried to restrain myself, but my willpower was just too weak...

I do hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me this transgression...

I can't bring myself to say what I did outright... it's in the Sweetness category, between Red Licorice and Sweet Gingerbread.

It's horrible, I know...

I'm hanging my head in shame...
