I always imagine the best. Honestly, it's better than knowing sometimes. My first cat got paralyzed by a car injury and a good Samaritan brought him in. He was at the vets, for a week, until finally my parents decided to NOT pay 1500 to OPEN him up just to see if he could be repaired. I didn't blame them. If it was a sure thing I bet they would have done it but 1500 bucks for exploratory animal surgery is hard to swallow.

I hit someone's cat once. It ran RIGHT under my tires, there was no way to swerve. It was a beautiful animal, clearly well cared for, and had a collar with a phone number. (This was before cellphone days.) I did some knocking on doors, but no one knew anything. I left it carefully by the side of the road. I hope someone who knew it found it. Or not.

But yeah, I imagine the best. Because honestly, the pet is either fine, or not. So why not imagine fine? To be quite honest, it's usually the owner that suffers the most. So either he's heading "home to Tucson" (the dog he prefers it there) and weirder things have happened. Or, he's dead or eaten or whatever, etc. It is what it is.

I am currently so sleep deprived, even my dreams are about being tired and wanting to fall asleep.

Also, my upper lip is pretty unhappy. I was using the bleach, and I ran out of the prescription mouthwash to go after it and like, SOME ingredient in it did not like the residue of bleach in my mouth. I think it might have created ammonia. SOMETHING. I spit it out fast, and my upper lip got burned it's all brown and wrinkled. While a) it beats a gum infection by a country mile and b) I know now what I will look like when I'm 80, it also SUPER SUCKS.

LOL, my bad show "The Black LIst" ended (for now I believe it is still in production but I have Netflix."

I was SO CALM watching that show. Now I'm watching some British show about some lady doctor being cheated on by like, her evil husband.

I am SO PARANOID ALL the time now. I'm like, a freak show.

HELP!!! I need super implausible evil that is like pretend real life (that means NO marvel) and like, awful stuff happens but it's fine because IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

I'm down to a pathetic lot. Law and Order (I HATE those, except the one with Horatio in it, I forget though what chain that was) or like, NCIS which I ALSO HATE because the husband decided "Abbey" was the hot one when the first brunette died and all the NCIS dudes were like "WHO WAS Hotter Kate or the mean Mosad or whatever one was" and my husband was like ABBEY and I was like "I will kill you in your sleep" about it (this was when I was young and innocent in marriage kinda.)

Then he told me he liked her personality and that is how he found us to be similar and I was like, "You are the WORST I wish upon you DEATH."

Okay, maybe I'm savant like in some areas and have some addiction issues to contend with but I don't emote like that all over my WORK!

In any case, I was not best pleased for a long time. But it's potentially worse/better than my doctor show. I don't think ABBEY OR her paramours are like unfaithful to each other.

Maybe a little train of thought similarity but like the husband is almost Autistic so like maybe ANY emotion is a lot of emotion. Maybe he IMAGINES me weeping on a coworker's shoulder but Let Me Tell you that is not TRUE. If anything I am being wept on. That type deal.

God. I'm a mess. I bet I have a dream within a dream tonight about being sleep deprived.

Dog is here with me. Dog misses its true owner who is currently very mad at it, but won't admit it. (Owner.) I gotta shove that little sucker in the dark room soon.:

Ahhhh….

Go back a little maybe...
Hannibal?
Northern Exposure?
Twin Peaks (original)?
Great in their own ways. Well, maybe not Hannibal, watched that like you'd watch a train wreck, more like...

I would love to be chloroformed.....

Out of nowhere, by the right person (DEFINITELY NOT GIORGIO) and taken to a secret location and told the secrets of the world.

Not the husband. He has told me his secrets MANY times. He's a conspiracy theorist, and they DO THAT ALL OVER as though the conspiracies "should not" remain secret.

I mean..... If I knew a good conspiracy I would SHUT THE HELL UP about it. Me and my siblings have done that on many an occasion with my parents and it's QUITE satisfying.

Even better is to OUT it, only YEARS, nay DECADES later.

LOL I finally told my mom that my dad used to take me to work as a toddler when he was "quitting" and smoke cigs out of the ashtray while telling me, "Don't EVER do this and don't tell your mother."

She was so over the guy by then she just shook her head, laughed, and like said, "Oh, that MAN."

Course, there's that. A tiny bit of outrage would have been MORE satisfying.
