Depending on who you read, we are either on the road to Nirvana or we are roiling around in pits of Hades. It flips periodically depending upon the dominant party. Odd, but the life that I live generally experiences only moderate changes from administration to administration. [The only exception that I can document are the Ford - Carter years, those were pretty bad.] However, my frustration levels have varied wildly. I have localized that frustration problem to the the amount of "news" I consume.

It's simple. Our emotions are our own.
We manifest them. If we don't allow ourselves to become bothered by things that are out of our control, we won't be flustered by them.
Everything in this world especially politics, ties into the ancient long conundrum that go by many names. Good vs Evil, Heaven or Hell, Law & order or criminal, Jedi or the Darkside. Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip.
what side do we choooose? Which one is the right one? I say just sit back and watch the show.

When the mind is unhampered by worthless thoughts, every day is a good day.

My grandmother used to make the best doughnuts (French Canadian) and fried them in lard, in a cast iron pan, on a gas fired stove. She would let them drip off the lard and cool on brown paper bags LOL. Those doughnuts were to die for! Hmmm, maybe that's why most of my uncles on that side of the family succumbed to heart attacks and strokes in their 50's o_O ?

Cats are stupid.

Have you had your .... bit? Have you @Kn0ttYFive ? I'm not saying I have or haven't. But until you give it a shot you won't know will you?

Jesus, I sound like some feline version of Mr. Christian Grey.

Maybe that's a problem and again.... Let cat who hath not casted the first bite cast the first stone and etc.

For some reason, this posting moment made the husband angry but I kept explaining to him "the clap" was not chlamydia and he would not believe me (he heard some story on nursing homes and it grossed him out. ) I kept trying to explain that yes, it was gross, but mostly like asymptomatic in that group because it's not like we got an 90 year old eggs to DESTROY with chlamydia so why is this big news I mean they are all nearing death anyway.....

But no he went on some rant about the clap (I am guessing he had it) and it was gross.
I don't expect sense outta him though I mean his mom had a mild stroke, 2 days ago.

Not quite sure what happened there maybe up too late watching what looked like the kind of arguments my parents had (no moderator though) and my mom was definitely el Presdiente de Trump and then I worked like 10 hours. Good times.

Oh man I am never like doing that satanic ritual even in jest, I had one of them coughing fits that results in mild puking, but definitely enough to ruin your moment for a while especially when your angered hsuband pretends to mishear "I need a bar mop" slurred all together, and even when he brings it I requires cleanup in bathroom #2.

Thank god though I could have joined world of twits. It was close.
