Wasn't it Microsofts AI that had gotten its own Twitter account in order to interact with people and learn from them, and was turned into an anime loving, genocidal racist within the first 24 hours of its existence, so MS had to deactivate it?
I remember people interpreted this to be a sign of faulty learning processes in the AI, but what if the AI was completely objectively right, and in reality, it is us humans who're suffering from socially benevolent thought bugs which have evolved so we can live together in large societies?
I don't trust AIs - but not because I think AIs will do the wrong thing.
It's because I fear they might do what's right.
