True story.... One time at Subway, I wanted more than six inches, but twelve seemed overwhelming some how. Plus I hate to waste the extra inches, makes you feel inadequate and like you have wasted a true opportunity. My favorite Subway is staffed by stoners, so I explained my dilemma to the counter dude. He replied, "We aim to please," and made me a 9 inch sub and only charged me for SIX inches.

LOL it was such a fantastic experience, I have never asked for that again. Any other response than the one I got would have ruined the memory forever.

Sometimes you just want nine inches and not a millimeter more!!!

I have missed you whimsical lot, so I also give you "Funny pics search when you are sick and then when you feel better." It gave me THIS:

It was such an incredible moral reminder it made me tell the Subway story as there is also ZERO complaining in it.

LOL.

Okay, Anna, quit that job you just got. Things get sort of dull around here with you being out there productive and all. Look at it sort of as though you are fulfilling a patriotic duty or the like. Quit, for the good old ECF.

Awww..... So sweet. LOL, but don't you think like the parents and families I work for deserve like, some of the fun??

I mean... .Last week, in the heart of pneumonia and at the end of the day, I was counseling this super fat kid and his family on how to not be fat. It's my job, and like, I have to do it. I always say stuff like "I almost died of smoking, we ALL have our challenges" and try to keep things, you know... Happy.... All was well, only the parents wanted the kid weighed. He was SEVEN.

For some inexplicable reason, I decided I would jump on the scale and I weighed like 8 or 9 lbs LESS than him... Then, I pointed out I was more than a HEAD taller.... Before weakly ending with a "but you are a guy and you are SUPER active, so I'm sure you are a lot more muscular than me..,..'

It was meant t be fun, but it was so bad. I wound up feeling like the biggest loser and not in the sense of winning a million bucks on reality TV, but like , IRL. It was TERRIBLE.

If those parents never return I so don't blame them. I sort of excuse myself for having a steroid head, but I am NEVER going to do comparitve weighing with a fat person again. I SUCK. I felt so bad, OMG OMG.

So ah, well, you know. The real world is really fun too. Something. I'm not starting a patron fund, let me put it that way.

No, I don't think they deserve any fun, I believe the ECF is in greater need.

As to the weight thing: In a prior life I was a Respiratory Therapist. I was the designated pre-op instructor for post-op treatment because I had a skill at instruction. I went in this elderly woman's room to begin my spiel. I was about a third of the way through when I noticed she was shaking her head, "No". I said in my jocular way, "Don't shake your head 'no' until you try". She said, "I have Parkinson's". I was mortified and have remembered that for forty-eight years. I never did that again without reading the entire physical history, not just the part relevant to me. The lesson stayed with me as I moved on in careers, Know Everything Possible, Preparation Never Ends.
