Defective Inferno Battery?

Good news: Got the Inferno kit last night and I love it.

Bad news: The 1000 mAH battery is a no-go as of now.

I left it charging while I tested the unit out with the 650 mAH USB battery. After over 4 hours I checked it and the light was still red. Not good, I presume. I unplugged it and moved it to another outlet (where I could watch it) and it turned green after an hour. Then I hooked it up to test it.... zilch, nada, kaput. The light on the button doesn't even turn on.

I assume that this is a classic case of needing an RMA, especially since Volcano has been so good about that sort of stuff in the past, but I wanted to run it by on ECF and see if there are any troubleshooting tactics. Thanks!

yea...return that bad boy...I would call them sometimes...with DOA stuff they dont even bother with the RMA form they just send out another one...

Will do. They've been really great about customer support - part of the reason I stick with them.

Otherwise I'm producing massive clouds of vapor with the other battery (which I have yet to kill in 6 hours). I can't believe I was using the V-series for so long!
