totally wicked sells this under the name tornado-t i bought them and they mute the flavor to the point that you can't really taste anything... OR they just taste burnt

Funny, I have neither problem with my tornado-t. The flavor isn't quite as strong as my 510 with driptip, but I didn't expect that. As far as the burnt flavor thing, a lot of people have suggested pushing the wick down slightly to alleviate that.

I prefer the cone set up on the inferno to the ego myself. The oring system makes it easier to remove and put back on, a small difference but I find myself using my inferno's 90% of the time and rarely the ego's.

Other than the threading on the cone though they are basically the same thing, I like the inferno's 1000mah/650mah usb passtrhough kit though its a workhorse.

pushing the wick down made mine much worse.. my advice is do not try this!!

Wick adjustment is a careful science... Push too far and you cause flooding. You should watch Cignot's Wick adjustment video to get the gist of it. I also now remove my needle plate whenever I need to adjust the wick. It also allows for a much better cleaning, and I've actually used my Tankomizer for dripping with the needle plate removed... Too bad a drip tip doesn't fit :p

I got the Inferno... A) I love the company for their customer service (I ordered my 510 from them), and B) their prices are pretty-much on par with everyone else's. I got the non-tank kit, a steel drip tip and another atomizer and it came to $84 after shipping for 2 complete units. I dig the passthrough and only take my 650 mAH to work with the passthrough cable. I use the 1000 mAH if I'm out for an extended period of time or chillin' on the couch. It'll hardly cost me anything to upgrade to a tank setup. Volcano has all the little peices available too if you happen to lose anything or want to get spares of everything.

Thank you! I have one I think I pushed down too far and I was wondering how to go about fixing that.

Confirmed!!!!! Easy out, easy in. Makes it a whole lot easier to adjust the wick. I used a pair of small pointed tweezers with raised edges on the inside (they look like 1/2 a devils tail or spade at each point). Wick was super black, dropped it in some alcohol for about ten, used a qtip to get the black off (just press down, don't swipe/wipe). Dropped the atty in the same alcohol for about ten.. shake, shake, shake.. no gunk on coil... all look new. Put them back together (used empty tank to seat, as suggested)... will check back in a few days from now (air drying them).
Thanks for the useful info.

You can't imagine how helpful this was for me! I got an eGo T a few days ago and it ran dry after just a couple hits. I'd have to wait for it to rewet to get another one. In fact I think I may have burned out an atomizer I got so frustrated with it. After watching these videos, I adjusted the wick and things are a lot better. I can finally get rid of that horrible Freedom Smokeless kit!!!
