I've seen mixed information on how much tail you should have for cotton wicks for optimum flavor inside the juice well of an rda like a patriot or any other rda. Do you guys cut your cotton wicks long or relative short? Also do you tuck the cotton under the coil or around it but not under the coil? For me, flavor is more important than huge clouds. I think it's a trade off where most flavor doesn't equal most vapor, and vice versa. Thanks!

I cut mine flush to the edge of the atomizer then push them down to reach the deck. I don't put anything under the coil.

Same here, a slight bit longer than the edge of the atty. if I put more in, or start wrapping wick, it never makes it to the coil. The juice doesn't wick "around corners" or bends. I've tried tons of configurations and this seems to work best for me.

I agree, just enough to reach the deck. When I was new to cotton builds I was making a huge mistake. I thought the more cotton the better. My thought was you would have to drip less often. I did that for awhile. Then here I read the less is more factor. I learned so much here I of course tried it. Immediate improvement! Better taste, bigger clouds. I never went back. IMO, you asked for a definitive answear, you got it here in the majority. Good luck!
