DeKalb County (Atlanta) attempting to ban indoor use of e-cigarettes

Sorry, I meant to update this. It was deferred to the next meeting, which will be the fourth Tuesday of this month.

Unfortunately, if there are no boots on the ground in DeKalb, the battle is likely to be lost. Phone calls to the legislative offices can be helpful though, so please consider taking a couple moments out of your weekday 9-5 period and call the reps.

If you know anyone in DeKalb County, please try to convince them to be active on this, even if it just means one phone call to their own Commissioner.

I see what they did. They're just waiting us out. Start a new thread, even though we already have two, in the news section. Can we get an exact date, time, and address posted please?

UPDATE: The ordinance may be voted on at the Board of Commissioners' August 23, 2011 meeting at 9 AM at 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur, GA. It's imperative that the Board of Commissioners hear from e-cigarette users.
