Some people have the perception that Chinese liquids are somehow inferior or less safe. I have tried both Dekang and Hangsen. I really enjoy my Hangsen RY4. For me, I think there is a difference in the way different cultures have "taste" expectations. The U.S. vendors liquids seem to be a bit sweeter and more complex. The Chinese flavors are much more straightforward. If you look at it from the other direction, the Chinese are seeing U.S. flavors called "radiator fluid" and "dragon blood". We might as well name one "ground babies"?. I have only ever been to Vancouver Chinatown, but if it representative of a "cultural palette", then the difference would be explained. Wait until India jumps into the vaping market, then we can have curry flavored ground baby.

When I started my journey into vapeland 3+ years ago, Chinese juice was the only available choice. As you all know, finding that flavor in the beginning to replace the smoking habit is a comedy of errors. So many sample packs, so little time. However, when you do find that certain flavor that works....velvet ropes part and you become one w/ your device and march forward happily into vaping bliss.

Now, we have so many choices. I applaud the USA juice vendors. For some reason I find our juices smoother and less per-fumy. It's a matter of taste and we are all different. DeKang helped me put away my ashtrays, so I must applaud them also.

Ive tried chinese juices as well as us juices and i must say not all chinese juices are bad. Take for example hc strawberry which i felt was much better than tpa strawberry. Halo juices also taste kinda artificial to me. I have a new shipment of juicy vapors juices otw so i'll try those and see how it goes.

I agree there are crappy juices out of china. But i dont think us juices are any superior in quality or taste. Its just a typical mindset that we all have that china stuff is crappy. I too am guilty of that. But im surprised at how china juices taste and how us juices with all the hype tends to disappoint my tastebuds.

The Standard PG based Hangsen line has more the 270 flavors. (No curried baby, sorry)
I don't really see that kind of variety from ANY U.S. based vendor.

Well actually the Hangsen website claims 150 flavors, which is a lot more than any single U.S. supplier. In regards to the cultural differences, they even make liquid specific to "American Taste" Hangsen - The leading electronic cigarette and E-liquid manufacturer. E liquid designed for American Taste. I am not knocking either one but I would be willing to bet there are many people that can tell the difference. One of those blindfold tests, between Chinese and American. I do not have that sophisticated of a palette.

Thanks Jtpjc......Frankly I wouldn't mind my juice coming from either of those two facilities, though the major contrast lies in the volume at which V4L is working in comparison to JC.

Nice posts and it keeps getting better, been pretty informative this far, great pointers for any noob like me when it comes to juice hunting :)

I think US companies make good non-tobacco flavors, but have yet to find anything close to a decent US made tobacco vape. Dekang and Hangsen make very good tobacco vapes imo, but unfortunately a lot of vendors are using their flavorings only, adding their own nic base and pg/vg, making the tastes wildly inconsistent. DKTab is my adv, but my favorite vendor stopped carrying it and I'm having a very hard time finding another similar version of it. Liqua juices, which are Chinese made using European ingredients, are excellent quality and factory sealed (ie consistent).

I vape many USA and Dekang made ejuices and I like most of them. The Dekang tobacco flavors I like are DK-Tab, RY4 and USA mix all at 24mg nicotine. I will sometimes add VG to them to get more vapor and cut down the nic level to about 18mg. I've also found that letting them sit for several months smooths them out somewhat, but taste is subjective so you may want to buy each flavor in small amounts to see what you like. Good luck.
