I ordered from V4L because of the great selection and how everyone raves about fast shipping. Are you all paying the upgrade to Express shipping? I placed an ordered last Thursday and another on Friday because I got some extra money and wanted more stuff. :)
I got shipping notices for both Monday evening. That doesn't seem like very quick turnaround to me. Tracking showed nothing until the 25th (Tuesday) and it said they had both "processed through the sorting facility" in IL that day. One (the 1st ordered) still shows no further progress than that. The other says it processed through the sorting facility in Springfield, MA at 12:33 A.M. today (the 27th). Still no delivery. Springfield is across the state line from me, but only about 25 miles away.
I'm just so frustrated waiting and waiting. To me fast shipping would be something sent out next business day. I know V4L has no control over the USPS, but couldn't there be more options at reasonable prices for shipping? Like something more reliable than USPS.
I know I'm getting off to a bad start here complaining. But, I'm frustrated and I just don't get it.

I live in SD and usually get my stuff in 2-3 (4 at the max) days. I tell everyone how fast they are. on the other hand I get some juice from a gal in maine that hand fills and mixes everything herself and that can take over a week to get to me. I just take it in stride and make sure I have what I need and compensate for delivery times. Its better than smoking cigs...! :)

I just hope I get something soon. Don't know what's going on with the one tracking hasn't updated since Tuesday. Have to wait to find out whether it's a glitch in tracking or just lost or what. It's so rare to deal with a company that ships only by USPS these days. I've never had a problem getting a package shipped with other carriers quickly and with accurate tracking,
I want to order more cartos while they're on sale this weekend, but, wanted to try some of the flavors I already bought so I have a better idea what I like. If they don't get here, I'll have to wait for another sale.

I would actually understand if it took a few days for an order to be filled and shipped if it was handmixed. I'm new to vaping and just learning how much I need supplies. I do a lot of online shopping for other things, so I didn't expect this to take so long. From now on, I guess I'll plan for 10 days to get delivery. I thought 5-7 days was reasonable.

I live outside dc, get it two days after it's shipped. All depends on how busy and how well staffed your usps office is. When my wife or I send anything to alabama (where she is originally from) it can take as many as four days to get there. On tracking you can see it was out of md in a day, spends 3 days in al post offices.

I live in Washington state and have gotten all my V4L orders in 3 days, sometimes 2. I get a shipping notice same day as ordered (if I ordered early enough in the day) or next day. The "tracking #" V4L provides at shipping is actually Delivery Confirmation, not actual tracking. Sometimes a package will not be scanned by USPS until it has been delivered.

My history in the last (almost) year with this company has shown excellent order processing and shipping. UPSP ? that's another story. Also, using UPS or Fed X would be quite a bit more expensive. I would rather spend that money on vaping. :)

Well Deva let me start by welcoming you to the forum family. Good thing you noted a caveat about starting on the wrong foot as some of us keep our pitchforks at the ready. :p

Just a couple of things: Currently the USPS tracking system is glitched and even when it does work correctly it is poorly updated, inaccurate, and at times simply non-existent as many here will tell you. The other factor is the snowy East Coast weather, since some mail travels by plane but most travels by truck.

By all means you can call USPS, but they are a fountain of useless information. If it doesn't show up on their website, one would think there is some other way to track a package, there isn't.

We all feel your frustration, as we have all stalked our local postal carrier at one time or another. Let's hope that you get both packages tomorrow or at least one tomorrow and the other by Saturday. I have actually had 2 orders arrive at the same time that I had placed on back to back days. :2cool:

If V4L ships it out, there isn't much else they can do after it enters the USPS system. I own an e-commerce company myself and I've found other shipping options to be more expensive and just as prone to have delays occur.

Hang in there!

I am in California and I almost without exception get it on day 3 (business days) One time I got it in 2 days and was shocked! (I had ordered in the morning) and one time I got it in 6 but USPS apparently took it for a tour of San Diego before sending it my way lol. But 3 business days is usually how long it takes for me.

On another note, I have had several "UPS 2 day shipping" orders (that I had paid extra for) from Amazon that took 4 and 5 days! The mail moves, but sometimes at a snails pace! I guess we have to be patient.

Welcome to V4L! You will love it when it gets there! ;)

SnowDragon you are more than correct on the uselessness of calling usps. I had my second order from V4L shipped to my new address, and because my idiot self didn't put my name in the mail box they refused to deliver it (new mail guy, because I had other mail items arrive without issue before). I called the usps customer service, and was told I'd get a call back regarding the package in 2-3 days. I wanted to cover all my bases so I called the po itself the next morning. I talked to my carrier personally, he explained why he didn't deliver it, and then said he would drop it off that day. Well a usps rep called me later that night to say it would not be dropped off because the address was wrong. I informed her it was delivered and told her about my discussion with the carrier. So yes, they are one hundred percent useless....

Thank you all. I feel better. My concern with the V4L end of it was ordering Thursday and it not being shipped until late Monday. Hopefully, it will show up tomorrow. Just wondering about other people's experience with shipping and delivery times. Also to know the tracking number doesn't really do anything is good.
I have been using the KR808 from another company and am happy with the device. I am running really low on cartos. I am so impressed with the variety V4L offers and the excellent reviews of them. I am just dying to try some! I also ordered 2 of the new Diamond Series batteries cuz I just love the bling!
I guess it's just a bit like being a little kid waiting for Christmas but not knowing exactly when it comes.

Dude I'm from CT as well and have the same issue...I placed my order on friday and it's still not here. It's " Processed through Sort Facility, January 27, 2011, 9:22 am, SPRINGFIELD, MA 01152" Sooo who knows...hoping I get it by tomorrow. Lemme know if you get yours cause I ordered thinking I'd get it midweek and I'm pretty upset that it's still not here.

Yeah, been there too. I know there's been a lot of bad weather there lately.
I get a better detail by copying the tracking number into the USPS website. Once I called USPS and laughed out loud when they told me my shipment from IL to FL was sitting in Colorado because the truck had to make another stop first.
I feel for you! Hopefully it's just slightly delayed due to the weather.
