So by your description I think it could be a few things. Since I haven't used a T3 or T2 I'm going off of what I have read and experience from other devices.

1.) Vapor tongue: This can make juices taste weird because your taste buds are overloaded and since taste buds die off and come back constantly you just have to wait for them to come back.

2.) Flooding: Flooding can cause juice to vaporize differently and make the juice taste weird and harsh. Since you said that it was like a wet burning taste this sounds like a good chance. If you are getting gurgling or if you tip the clearo upside-down and juice comes out you are flooding the coil. This is harder to fix. You can clear the coil by blowing from the bottom out of the drip tip and catch the extra juice that comes out with a paper towel. But it might just start flooding again. So if clearing the flood helps you can try uping the VG content in order to wick the juice slower.

The last few would be a build up of burnt juice bits on your coil or an aversion to silica but since you have tried a new clearo and have been vaping your T3 without problems before these probably aren't it.

Hope that these might help a bit. Stay strong and vape on.:)

So this morning at work I was on break and vaping when suddenly my ecig just started hitting weird. The airflow suddenly got really tight, and instead of a dry hit burnt taste, it had this wet burnt taste. There was plenty of liquid, no holes were blocked, and my atty head was brand new from the day before. I stopped at a smoke shop on my way home and got a knock off t3 to hold me over while I look my t2 over. Well I was puffing on my t3 just now, fresh charge, and it was tasting great then blam, almost the same thing. Except this time it had a weird metallic taste. I'm guessing it might be my battery, idk, but I dont have any backups or anything since I'm really tight on cash. Any ideas of what this could be would be a lot of help, I'm stuck in a pretty bad spot at the moment. Also, my setup is just an eGo-T with either a knock off t2 or t3 clearo on it.

What confuses me is the drop in airflow. That indicates tank issues. How's the juice? Could it have been tainted or gone bad? Vapers tongue can be cleared over night for me with Biotine rinse before bed. Colgate makes an effective cheaper brand of dry mouth relief.

The juice is new and was fine before. I think it was the atty head, I finally got a chance to put another on and it's working fine now. Had the one with issues soak all day, im gonna check it in the morning when I get home.

Try doing a few prime puffs. (Hitting it without hitting the fire button) let it sit for a second and try again.
If that fails, take it all apart, clean it. pop off the post pull the silica out of the coils and rewick it with some cotton from a cotton ball. There are many tutorials on youtube and it is insanely easy! I do it for all my heads. The flavor is better and the vapor production is better too. Just remember to prime it before putting it back together (putting a couple drops directly on the coil/wick.) hope this helps!
