^Thanks for that. I've been hesitant about messing with modding with dna's due to availability and so forth. I've just been reading on the t-10.

Can you post a picture of what your mods look like? Thanks
Just you tube "altoids box mod" lots of videos there and how to's in case you want to build your own.Mine use duel 18650"s w/volt meter in the center.

some versions(or the random manufacturers that make them) of the vamo offer 33.3Hz and high frequency settings..so it's your choice to use high frequency or the 33.3Hz..
I've never heard that one before. I know there is an average and RMS mode, but that has to do with the way it reads the voltage. I don't think it has anything to do with the PWM.

I've measured mean and rms with vape-pro on a scope.. one is 33.3Hz square the other is high frequency.. around 700Hz triangle

37, ph0n3 h0m3.

That's interesting, I've never heard that before. So is the Vape-pro a re-branded Vamo? The pictures I've seen only have one button.

I think below this is what you described you were looking for - if I had the $200 I would be all over it.

http://www.protovapor.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/P1151241.jpg

Features:
Evolv DNA-30D 30-watt advanced power regulated chipset for unmatched output and capabilities.
Anodized aluminum casing for durability, reliability and solid feel.
Dimensions (casing): 115mm x 24mm x 24mm
Internal battery:
2100 mAh Sony US18650VTC4 battery, 30A rated (LG 18650HE2 2500mAh 20A, AW 1600mAh 18650 24A optional)
Battery can be replaced by user at end-of-life.
Onboard Evolv micro-USB charger.
Low-profile 510 connector (sealed). Comes with 510-Ego connector
Wide clicky tactile fire switch rated to more 10,000,000 actuations. No clunky horn switches here, this switch is used in NASA spacecraft! Smooth/silent optional (1,000,000 actuations rating).
3-way wattage control switch for quick and precise one-handed adjustments, plus full access to all DNA 30D functions. No cheesy silver BB’s here.
PTC resettable fuse protection for the battery in addition to the DNA-30D’s onboard thermal and current protection.
Pocket clip (optional), a Protovapor exclusive feature that keeps the mod at the top of the pocket for quick access. For the option to remove the clip, you must add the Removable Clip Option.
A tremendous amount of time and effort was taken to ensure these mods would provide a worthy experience for demanding vapers. We cut out the BS, sourced quality components, spent countless hours on design and testing, and are proud to present this fine DNA mod.

I believe the VTR has a different chip, it will also go down to a 1.0ohm build.

Good Luck in your hunt!!! :toast:

I've fired mine down to .7, though that was just experimenting with builds. On paper, the lowest it can fire is a .6, and at that resistance it will only put out its max 15 watts.

However, at 6v (15 watts at .6 ohms) the signal is flat, per PBusardo's review.

Otherwise, it uses PWM at 48 hertz to modulate power.

I've noticed (while dry burning coils) that it ramps up power, not slamming the coil with full power for a second or two. This is evident by watching the coil slowly starting to glow, then suddenly becoming brighter as full set power is applied. This might help negate the initial burnt taste some have reported with the low freq PWM mods. I don't have an appropriate meter or scope to verify that, however.

Did you see Grimm Green's review? That looks like one frustrating device.
Yeah, I saw it, Definitely frustrating in its current form, at least in my opinion. I really don't want to have to remember color codes or try ti differentiate colors in bright light. My eyes aren't what they used to be.

I have one in my own hands right now and am loving it. Grim Green was not happy with the company itself and how it approached the reviewers with a long list of conditions from their legal team. He seemed to have vented his frustration with the company by giving a bad review to the product.

Now that I have spent some time with the MiD, (one afternoon), I have it figured pretty much out, and like it a lot. The ability to make profiles that go up and down in wattage is sweet, 25 watts is nice. Did I mention the oscilloscope that runs via software?
