Which would be faster, DHL or EMS? Which one do you prefer, why and why not?

Normally DHL is much faster than EMS, but DHL is more expensive than EMS for small orders.
If you choose DHL, your order will be delivered to you via DHL USA company.
If you choose EMS, your order will be delivered to you by USPS.
We have few problems getting orders through your customs via DHL or EMS.

In Canada if it's sent DHL we have to pay taxes is sent EMS we don't usually have to pay anything. Not sure about USA.
If I spend over $249, the free shipping is EMS, correct? It will be to the US. Is there an option to upgrade to DHL? It was only a couple of dollars difference in the cart.
Also in the shipping options it says that including liquid will delay shipping. Why is that?

I agree with canap. With DHL there may be a possibility of taxes, EMS is fast and reliable. However I am in Japan, so normal slow China air is very reliable for shipping to Japan in my case, and I always have it in about a week. But for US, maybe EMS is best.
I don't know if I would pick EMS.....thats how my order was sent and I'm still waiting as its stuck somewhere in limbo right now. I hear how everyone says its so fast.....maybe just my luck or this is actually fast in the eyes of shippers (not mine though).

yes. orders over 249 USD can get EMS free shipping. If you want DHL, please leave a reminder in the comment table. If there is no big difference, we will send it via DHL.
ejuice need more inspection with DHL before it leaves china, which leads to a delay.
Yes, that is fast. One day from posting at local post office - to leaving China. I have tracked many parcels from the US that stop in about 4 or 5 different places taking - several days before finally leaving the US.
I ordered $250 worth of Boge cartos and got free shipping. The discount brought the purchase to $227. HC sent it DHL. I placed my order on Wednesday, May 9 at 5:00 pm Pacific time. Got shipping notice from HC about 6 hours later with DHL tracking number and was able to immediately track it on DHL and saw that it had left FUJIAN PROVINCE - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC. Friday morning it left Hong Kong. Saturday it arrived in Los Angeles and cleared customes within an hour. Monday morning it arrived at the delivery center and is out for delivery. I called DHL and they said that the amount of the purchase did not require duties, taxes or any fees if it is below $200. Though the purchase was $227 US dollars from HC, DHL has the amount marked as $87 for some reason. The custom tag says that contents are 330 metal tubes. It is supposed to be here by 2 pm but no later than 8pm. I will post an update when the package is delivered.
You say that you are still able to track the shipment as it reaches many destinations.....mine had left Guangzhou on the 9th and the tracking stops, makes me think its just floating around. Anyway I was going by what people posted on the forums saying they got their shipments in 4 or 5 days from being sent out and these shipments were going to Canada. I guess I'll have to keep checking and hopefully will see changes in the tracking......Thanks for the cerification that this time frame is normal.
My package arrived today just 4 days after ordering and two of those days were on a weekend. DHL delivered at 10:30 am PST. This was free shipping and no duty fees or any other fees. Great job HC!
