My last order was 9/24 and it arrived yesterday 10/11. Registered Air Mail. Not bad, IMO.
I am always quite thrilled when they come in such short order. The only time they take 30 days or more is always due to China Holiday's. But HC always gives a small discount for when those holidays roll around to make up for extended delivery time/delay.
yes. we'd love to offer small discounts for orders placed during our holiday as a compensation for the delayed shipping.
DHL doesn't make sense for the sort of orders I make. For commercial shipments where time is money then perhaps it would be worthwhile.
I would say despite a few "nervous" moments I've never had anything get lost and never arrive via Airmail. It's always come in the end. So if I don't need in a hurry and if I'm not making a very large order then Airmail will do. If I need it in a bit more quickly then EMS is a good option to have. If I need it really quickly, I'd buy it in the UK.

if your order is over 250 usd, we can send it via ems freely. normally it takes 6-8 days to reach UK via ems

yes. we do inform our customers in advance on the main page and our forums of the holidays in china and how long they will last.
I ordered during the last sale and it was shipped on Oct 12. I chose Airmail to save money. My package is in town and should be delivered today, Oct 27. 15 days is not bad at all, that's average for my orders.
Earlier this year I chose EMS and I won't do that again. I paid extra for that service and it took the same amount of days as Airmail.
Order ahead and you will be ok.

Order shipped registered airmail 11/1, as far as I can tell it has not left china - not in a hurry (or I would have ordered EMS) I'm expecting about 3 weeks shipping time.... patiently waiting

No reason to be sorry! I read your shipping page and was willing to wait 30 days..... It should arrive Monday, which is just 2 weeks. I'm very happy!
Sunshine, if china air was much faster, you'd shut down the us suppliers!
I actually laughed out loud at that one.
Anyway, the USPS isn't much better. For some reason, my package really likes the Processing center in Kearny, New Jersey.
