Ok so I have read all of the other threads that I can find on this and I am worried. I will start off by saying that I do suffer from EXTREME anxiety, so maybe I am making too much about this but I dont know what to do with all my juices from FSUSA. I love their juices and have been vaping them all day long for quite some time now. Im not trying to start flaming them because they are the only supplier of juices that I have tried which are good enough tasting (to me) to keep me off the analogs.
Wyatt Earp, RY4 and American Spirit is what I have been vaping. My concern is that I cant tell just from the taste of them what all they have mixed together to make these flavors so I dont know if any part of it contains diacetyl. I dont want to go as far as dumping the juices but I would like to know if these juices in particular contain diacetyl.
Again, Im not saying anything bad about them as they have always been good to me personally, and at least they did chime in and say that they know some of their juices contain it in another thread. Im not asking how they create the juice, but since its obviously not just one particular flavor, but a mixture of different flavors to create the mix (i hope that made sense) I would like to be reassured that my vape of choice doesnt contain this. If it does, then I could always find another flavor to vape, but I would like to be able to make an informed decision.

Thanks for the suggestions, I should have emailed them before I made this post, as it is NOT i repeat NOT my intention to start flaming. I just sent them an email and asked if my juices contained it and will let you know what they tell me. I also made them aware of my post on here.

I would respond to you more directly, but I don't want to start another flame war here on your thread. The only real advice that I can give you is to call David or Pam at FSUSA and discuss this with them. Their 800 number is on the front page of their web site. I personally use FSUSA juices for the same reason that you bought yours, flavor, and their juices have caused me no health problems that I am aware of - I am vaping their RY4 as I write this, and have no concerns.

The supplier won't tell you what's in the liquid beyond PG/VG/ and flavorings? I would think they would be the only ones that could state whether diacetyl is used, or at least find out for you if they sub-contract thier manufacturing of the liquids for private label. If they can't answer that question, they don't know whats in the product they are marketing which is just scary. You might consider getting the email address for the owner or officer at the comapny and pose the question to them.

Their web site clearly addresses your question, first thing on their home page. It would also seem the owner welcomes questions. I have never ordered form them, but what makes you think their might be diacetyl in their juices?

From thier web site:

Basically we only put 4 ingredients in our juices. nicotine,pg,vg,flavor. We DO NOT put water, alcohol or any other kind of cut in our juices. Our juices are the worlds finest for a reason, we will not compromise flavor by watering down our product just to make a few extra dollars off a sale.. Sure, you can find cheaper bottles of juices out there. We would ask you to place our bottle next to theirs, smell the two, then taste the two. You will immediately understand why we wont compromise our juices. We are Vapers just like you, and what we put in our own bodies is nothing short of the best there is. So again, welcome to FreedomSmokeUSA.

We are a Tucson,Arizona family owned company. We have 7 children and a strong work ethic. That family owned atmosphere is reflected in product packaging, shipping, and communications and are well reflected in who we are, and why you should choose to buy products from us.

This exact thing has been discussed and there are posts you can probably find (made recently) that could help to give you more information. Like Banjo, I really don't want to risk stirring the pot again, so I would suggest reading through the main thread on this topic (on the General board -- just ignore the personal attacks and stick to reading the information provided). I do not want to speak for the supplier, but they have not disclosed this information so far. You may have some luck contacting them at this point since they have been paying attention, and participating to some degree, in the discussion.

Darlene,

FSUSA uses FlavourArt flavorings. Some of FlavourArt's flavorings contain trace amounts of diacetyl. David and Pam should be able and willing to tell you which juices of their contain these flavorings. The majority of them don't, so if you decide you would like to avoid diacetyl, you still have plenty of choice.

Diacetyl is used to add a "buttery" flavor. So milky or pastry flavors are more likely to contain it.

The simple answer to your question is Yes there is diacetyl in Some of flavorings that FSUSA sells. It is in the flavour Art they use to flavor the nic juice and also they sell it by itself. Any company that uses Flavourart Could have diacetyl in it. Here is a link to Flavour Arts Web page that list the flavors that have it and how much. Diacetile - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi

I don't mind stirring the pot.

Aim your anxiety at all the things you ingest or encounter daily if you really want to something get worked up about!
Do you ask at a restaurant whats in the food you eat ??
Do you eat junk food, frozen food, or fast food ??
Do you clean at your house with something other than water ??
Speaking of water, do you drink water ?? Whats in that will blow your mind!

You encounter at least 100 things everyday that are going to harm you or kill you before diacetyl.

Take a chill and enjoy a good long vape :) And throw in some extra buttery microwave popcorn :) :) :)

The simple answer to your question is Yes there is diacetyl in flavorings that FSUSA sells.

It is not quite that simple. There are a few Flavourart flavors that have diacetyl, not all, and not all of FSUSA's flavors or juices have diacetyl in them. Let's don't over-simplify the problem by making the flat statement that "Yes there is diacetyl in flavorings that FSUSA sells."

My husband exclusively vaped fsusa's RY4 but we have decided to switch and give BWB our business (BackWoods Brew) and I'm actually loving their RY4 right out of the box. (I generally don't care for tobacco flavors, but this is different. It's brighter somehow. I'm looking forward to letting it age a bit, but at the same time hope I don't continue to love it - this is supposed to be my husband's!) I'm anxiously waiting his review. lol

So far it's definitely not as sweet as FSUSA's, but I can see why so many people mix it with Don's malty toffee or cappuccino (OMG - everyone is SO right about Don's coffee - the coffee flavor on the exhale of my caramel cappuccino is intense!!!) Also the Hunter's Blend is great - I really can't wait for these to mature a bit.

Good luck getting your answers & happy vaping!

Hey guys, David just emailed me back and told me that Wyatt Earp, RY4 and American spirit are all free of diacetyl :) so i just wanted to let everyone know in case there was anyone else wanting to know about these particular juices
David, if you see this THANK YOU for your fast response it is greatly appreciated

I know I'm going to get completely flamed for this. But since you asked a direct question and it was clearly something important to you, I just wanted to know what kind of clarification you were given.

The RY4 description says it includes caramel flavorings. If FSUSA uses Flavourart exclusively, and the RY4 includes the Flavourart caramel flavoring, then there is diacetyl in it. See: Diacetile - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi

If FSUSA does NOT use the Flavourart caramel for their RY4, then it does not include the diacetyl listed in the Flavourart description, so I'm wondering if he explained where the caramel flavor comes from. I realize this may seem nit-picky, but it's important in the context of this discussion and where all of the drama (particularly in regards to my position) comes from.

And before FSUSA fans jump all over me about this, please understand that I am not accusing anyone of anything. I am just CURIOUS and asking (what I believe to be) a valid question.

After all the buzz over this I went to the suppliers forum and asked my vendor [elp] if they use this bad bad stuff. They said no not at all and it was a great relief for me to know I didn't have to switch vendors. Just like you I went through a lot of trial and error with many vendors trying to find a juice for me and it was scary to think I had to go back on the hunt.

My wife vapes JC and ElP I haven't asked JC yet but i think with there open door to the FDA they would have been shut down if they did use that stuff.
