Hey there, my name is Bane.

I today just decided to quit smoking. I have tried (and loved) e cigs before. This time I am all in. I stopped at a gas station and bought a CIG20 starter kit for 25 bucks. It came with a USB charger. Now when I plug the ecig in it blinks then goes to red light on the usb charger itself, then if I wiggle it, it goes to green, one would think green means charge... SO I left it on green hoping it charges. Sound about right?

My next question is the little carts are expensive! I want to find some refills, where is the best place to get them. And NOTHING online takes Paypal... I only ever keep 5-10 bucks in my actual bank account, just to have it open. I use Paypal for all my stuff. NONE of the ecig sites use Paypal. Any suggestions there?

Hello Bane and welcome to ECF! All the charging equipment I have is on red when it is charging, but I have no experience with your device. And yes, carts are expensive. Most sites take credit cards, or you could go and buy a prepaid credit card, which is safer anyway. Best thing to do is buy blank cartos and some juice and fill them yourself. Much cheaper that way. Hope that helps. :)

So red is charge? Hmm, I have it on green. Ok, i'll try red. Ok, just switched it to red, and the head of the ecig blinked a few times, then the light on the USB port is red blinking green every three seconds or so. Ok. Makes sense.

Ok, now can I refil the carts I bought at the gas station? Or are there actually empty carts for you to buy and keep refilling with the liquid. I only bought a cheap starter kit cause I planned on quitting today.

Welcome to the ECF! The term eGo I think is an official brand, but has pretty much morphed into any larger (cigar-sized) battery. that holds a charge larger-- but not a mega-sized battery. Won't take you long to learn the lingo and you will also find that the "lingo" isn't as consistent as many people think it is.

Congrats on your new vaping experiences. Now the trials & tribulations begin.

Hi, Bane! Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do! There sure is a LOT to learn! I would definitely recommend refilling if you are going to be vaping a lot. It will save you a lot of money and will open up the world of flavors! I recently bought an ego starter kit and they threw in some juice and some empty atomizer cartridges, along with a syringe bottle. I just ordered a clearomizer, but I don't seem to like it as much... It does hold more liquid, but I have to draw harder on it than the cartridges.

Anyhow, I think they sell the kit so cheaply as they make their money on the refills. When I was hanging out at the local store, a lot of people stopped in for them. It is the easiest way to go, but as I said, definitely more expensive and limited in flavors!
