Did any get nervous dropping their nic levels?

This is relative to another post I have going but was particularly interested if lowering your nic makes you nervous at first?

I recently lowered from 24mg (High) to Medium...not sure what the Nicotine mg amount is in Medium. Anyway I seem to be fine after using Medium for the last 3 weeks, but everyone is different.
Read your other thread and agree that it may be a symptom of withdrawl.
Hope all works out Becca. :)

I took my sweet ... time and did it step by step. 18>16>12>8>6, and now I'm stuck on 6 happier than a witch at a broomstick factory
IMO you become nervous when you let the situation take control of you instead of it being the other way around. You don't need to force yourself or have someone remind you that it's time to cutback; only you can make that call in order for it to be effective.

It was a breeze because the nic level I started on was too high for me. 18mg nic was making me dizzy after.about 4-5 puffs so I dropped down and my problem was solved. Now If I were to decide to drop another level I might be a bit nervous but I would keep a tank full of 12mg juice handy just jn case.

I started with 18mg and I was a little apprehensive about dropping down to 12mg until I got used to vaping. That's when I realized 18mg was actually giving me a nicotine rush and later in the evening it would give me heart palpitations. I'm vaping 12mg right now and it feels just right to me :)

I would be a little nervous dropping further, so I'll give myself time to adjust and let my body feel that 12mg is too strong.

For me it was just the opposite. I got hyper and jittery when it was time to drop the level lower. Nic itself is a stimulant. My daugher and I used to love-argue about it as she said it can't be a stimulant because it relaxes her and that she got nervous if she went past two hours without smoking. Well, one day we were shopping for just over four hours and when we hit the car I asked if she was nervous and I got this "say what?" look. I reminded her it had been over four hours since she smoked.... we both laughed. The education: if your mind isn't on smoking the nerves don't come but they sure do if you get too much nic. That's part of why vaping works and some keep it up at zero nic... just keeps their mind off smoking.

I started at 24, and I'm still at 24. I got a deal on some juice from a local vendor that was closing up shop for my favorite flavor, but all he had was 18. I vaped through one bottle, and didn't really like it. One day I'll try again, especially now with owning VV/VW devices, I'm sure I can get a TH of that of 24...

I go up and down but generally try to stay around 12 but if the vendor only has 24 and I need the juice then 24 it is... I really don't notice a difference when I do.

I haven't gone up and down, but when a vendor sent me a sample of 12mg (I normally use 24mg) I didn't find a difference...

I notice a huge difference between 6 and 12 and 24—6 feels like nothing, while 24 has a burn to it. I'm smoking 18 for the most part, which seems to be a sweet spot for me, but I'd like to go down eventually. I keep some 24 around for when I can only vape a little bit, so I can still get nicotine and feel somewhat less stressed.

Hi Becca. I began vaping at a level that was too low for me. I eventually found out that there where higher level nicotine liquids and found my just right level (for back then) at 30mg. As I began to explore the vaping world I found it hard to get 30mg from everywhere, so in those cases I opted for 24mg, which allowed me to chain vape. I appreciated that level for many months and then like a light switch it was too much for me. I didn't immediately recognize the signs(woosy stomach, headache, elevated pulse, lack of feeling tired when I should have) so I just "toughed it out". I found when these symptoms arose I would want to take a drag much less. Then it dawned on me that My body was telling me to ease up. So I did. I moved down from that point on knowing very specifically when it was time to do so. I have been hovering between 3-6mg now for quite a few months. I still find the want for a little nicotine hit now and then but for the most part I am a very low nic user. I still chain vape because I enjoy it oh so much. If you can hear what your body is telling you then it is wise to actually pay attention to what it has to say. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
