I keep a bottle of gatorade in front of me.a plus for the gatorade is if you suffer from leg cramps, 16oz of gatorade a day will stop them.I had leg cramps (bad ones) for years, the only thing that would stop them was qunine, but it only stopped them after they started. I have been drinking 16oz a day for over a year now, and I have not had one cramp.

Do you work out a lot? Or sweat a lot?

I only ask because sweating out all of your electrolytes will give you cramp, even if you stay well hydrated. I used to use sachets of Dioralyte or take more salt with my meals. May work out cheaper than buying lots of Gatorade for you.

Canker sores.

Damn, I hate those things.
Any good solutions for these? I have a nasty one in the back of my mouth that's killing me! I got some topical gel stuff for it and some cough drops... But it's been a couple days since I started using them and it's not getting any better so far...

Howdy folks,

1.5 months into vaping, I've had none of the coughing crap up ( was a 1.5 PAD smoker ), no new gas, no real problems with stomach or headaches or any other of the negative reactions. What has happened...within the last week, I noticed my tongue, around the edges and the underside, I can taste my juice! My dreams, they seem more vivid ( how and why is a real mystery to me). The one part of this change my grandsons seem to enjoy the most, burping. From outta no where, I will burp...loudly.

Good luck folks,

Big Mac

I started vaping using 70/30 ejuice and also experienced occasional heartburn, since switching to 60/40 less dehydration issues AND less heartburn.

I think mine is 80/20 but the DIY nic I bought is 60/40. I was going to try less PG and see how it goes for me.

Cheaper than Dioralyte and what many marathon runners use:
Nuun or Hi5 Zero

I won't do Gatorade.....high sugar and calories, will put the weight on you--- you want something w/out all those carbs.

But yes, Doiraylte better than Gatorade as you're not getting that high caloric intake, which would also be real bad for those trying t lose weight or pre diabetic or diabetic. :) Nuun and Hi5 Zero are cheaper than Doirayte

Of note: for those with allergies
Doiraylte has saccharin.
Hi5 has sucralose
Nuun has Stevia Leaf Extract and dextrose

Gatorade you'll be getting about 100 CALORIES whereas with Hi5 only 5 calories. :)

I had one canker sore and broke out my second week, but that was it. Sometimes head aches but I'm not sure if the was from switching or stress unrelated to the switch. I'm kind if worried I never had any side effects, I feel like I haven't detoxed.

I did run six miles the other day, so I feel like exercise has gotten a little easier but not tremendously. I smoked a pad for 10 years.

Zinc supplements prevent them from happening. If you normally suffer try taking one tab a day

From my experence from using lozenges I know some of my side effects were having to do with the nicotine. I had the same side effects with them.

symptoms before starting to vape and still smoking
short of breath
coughing all the time
unable to smell
bad allergys
dulled taste

directly from the nicotine: these went away with in a few days or the first week.
sore gums
hickups

Could be due to detoxing and the nicotine had them with the lozenges also.
smelly feet ( smelled like popcorn)
smelly pits (wish they smelled like popcorn)

Vaping side effects (I went cold turkey with vaping) first 2 days, most were to do with having some withdraw.
nerviousness
short temper
sleeplessness
unable to focus

vaping cause of quiting analogs:
coughing ended after 17 days
dry throat, mouth (started drinking lots of water, and smart water)
gas, indigestion (with some flavors)
canker sore (with citrus flavors) useing citrus flavors not as much it cleared up.
vaping tongue (not able to taste at all went away after a few days)
small amount of zits on the face
more noticeble arthritus pain ( unknown if that has anything to do with it)
still haveing some sleeping problems but ive have for a long time.
IBS flair up

Good things that have happened so far:
Regained smelling
regained normal breathing
less allergy problems
facial skin is better, cleaner feeling, pores are getting smaller.
taste is on its way back, tho those food I really did like while I smoked taste totally different some Idont like now.
