He just told me that at ten he could walk in a bar and buy a pack of smoke for pocket change and no one ask any questions and there was an old corner store/ deli that would sell him cigarettes by telling the old guy they were for your parents
Yeah... I was 13 when I started. My husband started at 10, and quit on a bet when he was 21. He's now 62, almost 63, and other than a mild flirtation with Black n Milds a few years ago, hasn't been a tobacco smoker since. Other stuff.. well. Can't go into that here. But he doesn't do that anymore either; his VA doc told him a few yrs ago that he had what looked, on the x-ray, as "possibly" the "beginning" of COPD... so he stopped smoking anything. And now that I have stopped smoking... even HIS sense of smell is returning!
When I smoked I rolled my own so thought I'd better go for the highest nic level I could get, which was 24mg at the time. Sometimes when the 24mg was not in stock I'd pick up 18mg instead and to be honest I didn't notice any difference, so over time I've been dropping the nic level and I'm now down to 6mg
I started at 12MG but was finding I was coughing too much and felt slightly woozy. I've been on 6MG since last year, but I'm finding that a bit too much on a subtank so I might try 5MG. I did try 3MG but it didn't do anything for me.
In the store I got my first cig-alike, the juice was "what's there on the shelves" - that turned out to be 18mg, and its what I carried on ordering when I found a better supplier.
The 18mg just barely made it in a cig-alike, but is OK (or I've acclimatised) in the LF Vivi-Nova.
As I used to chain smoke hand rolling tobacco - my requirements may differ from the average.
