did I burn something out....

I believe I am using a 2.4omh....and it stopped producing vapor. I was seeing a red glow at the top which I didn't notice before...Did I burn out the..wick or something else....Still trying to remember the lingo for these parts

also i may of had it at 4.8 volts by mistake....

you shouldn't have seen any red glowing from the atomizer unless its dry(no eliquid) sounds like you might have blown a coil only way to check is to hook up the atty to a multimeter and check the ohms, or you can just stick another atomizer on the ecig and see if it works again.
i have to get offline so i wont be able to reply again til tonight,but might help someone if you told us what ecig you have and what atomizer your using as well
