So, for my birthday I got a 50 dollar visa gift card...
I hate to let any money go to waste on a gift card. They always seem to get you with those last few dollars.
I'm also ordering for my S.O so I need 2 of alot of things. Now that he started vaping too he always wants my stuff!
I ordered from fast tech
4 1100 mAh eGo batteries
2 mini Protanks with glass tanks
9 replacement heads
1 RBA
3 replacement prebuilt coils
and a clip to hook the battery to, well, whatever...
Total - 49.90
I think I won.

I've got a rebranded eGo now so I'm assuming the charger will still work for the new batteries. I just needed more batteries since SOMEONE won't quit using mine while I'm at work. So everyday I come home, vape about an hour and my battery dies. Took a while to figure that one out. Figured the best fix was to order him a set up with mine. haha

What kind of RBA did you get? You won't NEED to get into it with ego-type batteries, but I recommend looking into battery safety.

The most basic one I could find. lol. It's a smok tech mini, well, the clone of one anyways. I looked through all the similar ones and picked the one with the most reviews for being simple and good for beginners. I figure I can always upgrade but if I overwhelm myself I'm more likely to give up.

Just do your homework on how to build it. Take your time. CHeck your ohms. DOn't be afraid to redo it as many times as it takes.

I have the mini. It is not overly difficult to coil BUT it is SMALL. Not alot of room to work in. It might take a bit of practice to set up.

I like to recommend the IGO-L to beginners if only because the build area is so much larger.

just realize that shipping of batteries from HK may require them to come by the slow boat from China,,,,,,for a while, they were only having problems with the loose "shaped" batteries,,,,,,but apparently, now the Ego batteries are being affected as well,,,,,,

you may be in for a wait of over a month,,,,,,,,,although I hope you are not.

Fasttech can be great for cetain things, but I have to return a lot. Luckily they are a standup company and take everthing back for a full refund or credit. So I will always go back and buy more from them. Great source for EgO Twists, if you're willing to wait a long time to receive them and take the chance that the ones you get may not work (a lot have flawed threading). The Protanks and Protank Minis are fantastic - again, you have to wait for them to arrive much longer than US companies, but the prices are the BEST. (And they work just fine.)

Beware the RDA's - the Trident clone is awesome (A W E S O M E!) but most of the others have a crazy-small air hole and unless you want to mod it up with a drill, it will go right back every time.

As far as the premade coils, they are crap. As are all the stock coils in the RDA's they sell. You'll need to pull those right out and dump them in the trash. Not an issue thouigh, as wrapping coils is easy and cheap. Just buy yourself a spool of A-1 28 gauge Kanthal on Ebay. Magic.

Whenever you have a small amount left on any Visa gift card use it at your local grocery store. Tell the cashier "I have $2.32 left on this" for example and show them that it is a gift card. What they can do is run that card for that exact amount and then you can pay the difference.
