I got around to trying the Wakonda this morning with my cup of coffee, it got mixed with just a touch of The Virus and I couldn't quit thinking about Dante in the movie "Grandma's Boy". "I'll vape(smoke) it with you I don't give a
, we'll go to the loony bin together!" Really good vape on the Wakonda even with the mix I have going on. And this morning when I tried a bit of The Virus before the refill it tasted night and day different than yesterday. Pretty awesome stuff but when someone asks me what it tastes like, they're going to get a Confucius response. I can't tell you what The Virus tastes like, only it can tell you. And you will never get the same answer twice.

Went out to get groceries, came back with food, some organic cotton, 5 ft of 28g kanthal, and a multimeter.

Well I pulled the trigger, ordered a HCigar Stingray X clone, Mutation X (SS), and 2 of the efest 18650 2500 mAh batteries (ignoring the 35a listing and sticking to well under 20). I already have an Xtar charger that came with my Lavatube and with the stuff I bought earlier looks like I will be building soon!
Looking at starting with a dual coil .8 ohm build, 8/7, with an I.D. about .125". At 4.2v it looks like I will be running at 8 amps and about 22w. I know they have a forum for this but you guys are so helpful wanted to run it by ya'll and see if all my calculations look good to ya'll. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

Haha I wish, luckily the local B&M is right across the street.
Update: So yesterday the Stingray X (black, silver and copper) showed up beautiful little mod, and today the Mutation X will be here. Already bled a little bit making some test coils, labor of love and all that but working in a welding shop not the first time. Got home this afternoon and put an order in for some Hummingbird, Betelguese, and a 30ml of The Virus.
Got all my Kanthal straightened ready for the build this evening and am just waiting on USPS. Then I came here to the forum and read about the move(order placed @ 1:53 pm)!
Darth Vader voice: Nooooooooooooooo! lol j/k Good luck on the move guys can't wait to drip this stuff for the first time. Well that and next weeks paycheck to get some 50 ml's the 15's are getting pwned.
Edited: Everything arrived and I proceeded to make my first dual-coil, I was shooting for .7 ohms and I hit it right on the nose. Except when I snugged everything up it dropped to .6 ohms, still well within efest's range. They were wrapped around a 3/32" drill bit, and are uglier than sin but I love them like a proud parent! As soon as the batteries finish charging I am going to make the finishing adjustments, wick and fire here up. So excited!!!
Will be sure to let you all know how it goes.
