Did I just make a noob mistake?

I'd been toying with the idea of getting a iClear 30 tank for vaping at home. I love the Vea for work and out and about, but tend to chain vape at home. So I grabbed the 30 and an eGo C Twist 1100mah to power it. Bad call? It does vape heavier but how long before a shagged battery? They have a Lava Tube there, but it looks like a knock-off one. Would I still be better off returning the eGo for that?

From one noob to another....I don't think you will pooch your battery. IClear 30 replacement heads are 2.1 ohm. I like to vape that resistance at 3.8 to 4 volts. 1100mah should be sufficient wattage to handle that. I just found my 30 to be too bulky looking at the end of an ego battery, so I gave it and all the heads to my friend today. She has a Provari mini and likes the vape the 30 puts out. She will probably switch from her Protank to the 30 for backup...

Thanks for the response. I really don't have the funds for a mod, so the eGo Twist with a tank seemed to be the best option. Then I got home and read mixed opinions on a short battery life running those dual coils or not having enough power in general.

OK, I get it. I don't have a mod either, yet. I can only say that my Ego-V V2 1100 mah and the 30 were fine. Battery didn't sap out. It just looked clunky to me.

I use EGO-C Twist 1100m VV batteries with full size pro tanks about the same size as the Iclear 30's but not dual coils. They last very well for me...and my grandkids call them my "magic wands"...for out and about use I will sometimes pop a protank mini on for a less clunky look.

It's fine. I don't have an Iclear 30 but I've used about everything that can be used with my eGo Twists and they are still running just fine after 6 months of daily usage. So far, not seeing any degrade in the battery either.

Thanks you both! It's more for at home use, and with the beauty collar, it doesn't look clunky either.I'm just worried about killing it with those DC's. I think I will try to get my hands on a Smoktech Tumbler Clearomizer. It's only a single coil and easier to fill while chain vaping at home.

does it have to be iClear ?--here is a cheap' kanger dependable' alternative...

Hehe, it's too late now. I've already filled it and was puffing away at it while reading the mixed feelings on the subject. I went with the 30 for the big vapor from all those wicks. I was trying to make a "poor man's mod".

I went with the iclear 30 pretty much off the belt. My first and favorite non-stardust clearo. I have only been vaping 6 weeks and I think I'm gonna be hard pushed finding something on a par with it. Got an evod on the way and I'm hoping it's not gonna be a vivinova style disappointment. That vivinova is just awful. Horrible feeling mouthpiece, the threads are a pain being inside the tank instead of outside, and the tank itself just feels flimsy and thin. Stick with the iclear bud, it's a great tank. And it works with my default ego blister pack battery just fine

Use a large eGo cone for an anesthetic appearance for the iClear 30 on the Twist/Spinner/eGo, makes it look nice! It's just a piece that screws on to fill the gap.

yea, the T3S is pretty cool - bigger than a protank (but not glass)
ego, not 510 threaded, tall skinny, not short and fat
and the T3S coils will go in the protank (but not vise versa)

and heck they are cheap and tuff

Yep, I've got the beauty collar on it. The 30 looks alright on it. I've been chain huffing it for hours, and the battery is still going strong. I do really like the look of the Tumbler. Anyone here use one? Video review had shown good vapor production.
