There are places to get them anodized. One is an ECF member. For the time being, if Robert is no longer doing anodized you can get a bare, no pressed fitting or magnets, have it sent to anodizer, then back to Robert to finish. Adds some cost to REO, though.
But were talking about Mini 1.0 here. If you want to snag one on classies, in color you don't like the anodizer can strip the anodizing off and do a color of your choice. Robert needs to remove the pressed in fitting, first.
For a little extra he will polish the aluminum before anodizing. Polished anodized are very beautiful.
Mini 1.0 has a well appreciated place in my arsenal but I reach for Mini 2.x the most.
