Did I ruin my juice?

I got some Betelgeuse and it was amazing as could be right from the mail box. Simply astounding and it had that multi flavor sparkle that's just incredible. Then I took the cap off and let it sit overnight. It hasn't been the same since and it lost a lot of flavor, to the point that I can't vape it. Is it my taste buds going wonky again, or did I actually ruin the juice?

Vapers tounge. Make sure to shake the bottle, let it rest... 1 day with the cap off (while unnecessary because the liquid is pre-steeped) isn't really going to hurt much of anything.

I used to air out all the liquids but now only the ones that have a sharp perfumey smell. Maybe not perfumey, but something sharp to my nose. Can't describe it, but the nose knows.

I've had quite a few episodes with vape tongue. Hayfever season right now is really messing with me. If you have allergies, keep up with a decongestents.

I figured as much. I hate this vape tongue thing and its a very real phenomenon. SUCKS! Thanks for the input. The thing is, that juice still smells amazing, so its just torture to vape it and not get the taste.

Same here. Unflavored is a good thing to keep around to wet wicks, too.

I always have unflavored in one of my Reos. Even when you don't have vaper tongue just vape it for an hour and then switch back, the flavors will pop.

I would say the Most Likely cause is your Taste Buds.

Try Switching Flavors and coming back to it.

Where do you get the unflavored?

It is sold, but I am not certain where, and it is a crime that is costs as much as flavored juice. Most folks just mix their own. I bet someone here would be able to help you out, either by giving you some links or even a bottle of juice for a minor consideration. We are not permitted to trade, buy or sell on the forums unless it is in the classifieds so anything like that would have to be done privately...email etc. Then I think it would not be in violation of TOS.

I can pick up 100ml of zero nicotine either VG or PG from my UK supplier for £2, £4 if I get one with nicotine added.
Velvet Cloud does it with nicotine but it's costly.

Many places offer it, but I suggest you get your own nicotine, pg, vg and mix them together. Super cheap! You can get enough of those to make liters of unflavored for the cost of 4 unflavored bottles. Just be warned, unflavored does have a flavor. The nicotine, pg, and vg have a slight flavor that I find is rather pleasant at times. Resets the taste buds so I can enjoy NT again when things start tasting odd.

I also know the Reo folks fill their bottles with unflavored then drip a flavored juice in the atty, vape till the taste is gone then change flavors.
