I started to vape four days ago and havnt smoked since. I smoked a pack and a half for years and when I started vaping I havnt craved a cig since then. But now I chain vape like crazy, my room gets foggy and I go through multiple batteries a day. I like RDAs it's fun to build coils but I'm not good at it lol. How has vaping treated you guys?

I quit a 35 year pack a day habit overnight with the first ego/CE4 kit I got. Began to learn DIY within the first couple weeks since I got a throat ripping metallic hit off a new coil, now I can almost rebuild any atty but protanks are what I've been using for the last year and got my builds fine-tuned for my vaping pleasure. Within the first couple months I got into mechs and into the 18xxx battery series cause once you are able to rebuild your own coils, the ego's just don't cut it no more.

So far, so good. Two weeks now and I really don't want a cigarette. Biggest problem I have faced is that I dipped spitless tobacco as well as smoked, due to my work environment. I gave up both, but can't Vap in a customers home or anywhere I used to having a dip in. So that's been a bit of a struggle.
I have found that in my free time I vape a lot. During work not so much unless I am driving.

Welcome!

Sure did.

I bought a Kanger Evod starter kit and haven't smoked since I bought it. Almost six months now.

Same here, Mike. That's what I started with, too. I advanced a little bit, though and have a couple of MVP 2's that I just love. No smoking for me either from the day I started this great adventure.

to ecf BiscuitGTR. So glad you are here. Lots of wonderful people on ecf. And yep, lots of people who quit smoking that way. Isn't it wonderful? I did both for a while and just ended up preferring to vape. Accidently quit smoking but have been so totally happy with vaping. Good luck to ya and I look forward to hearing more from ya now that you are here. :)

I smoked for 30 years and quit the day I started vaping. Never tried the gum because I don't like chewing gum, but the patch was only good for keeping me from biting my nurses when I was hospitalized. As soon as I got out of the hospital I got some more hoping to quit, but they were so annoying that I was smoking again within a couple weeks. Vaping saved my life *and* my teeth, and not smelling of cigarettes has bolstered my self-esteem. I can breathe better and walk farther than I've been able to in many years.
I chain-vaped like crazy, too, at first. I attribute that to not starting at a high enough nic level, but it could have just been nervousness over letting go of the smokes. Vaping doesn't deliver nicotine to your system nearly as fast as cigarettes, but I found the higher nic levels didn't taste good to me, so I started at 12mg and have comfortably stayed at that level for nearly 6 months.
Vape on!

Wow this was such a spur of the moment decision for me. I had taken my daughter and dropped her at her grandparents house for the weekend and on my way home i noticed I had 2 cigs left in my pack and I new I had enough at home to get me through the day. then I saw the vape shop and thought Im just going to check this out. So I stopped and talked to them started looking and different stuff tried some flavors and walked out with a tank a spinner and some juice. It was ok and kind of serving the purpose but I was chain vaping like a beast. lol. I got home hit the net found out what I was missing and what I needed to cure that problem and ordered some stuff. Today in fact makes me 2 months smoke free. There are times I chain vape and theres times I will just take a few hits put it down for a while then hit it again. Ive found so much of vaping is personal preference.

Really a bit jealous for the people who quit right away. Took me 3 months before I quit smokes entirely. I was a hardcore smoker for 32 years at about a pack and a half give or take. It still took a little will power and a certain mindset to quit.

I would wake up in the middle of the night and have a cig sometimes. I would vape through a pivotal time (like after a meal) then once I got that down one more and so on. Eventually you learn a new behavior and become smoke free.

Vaping has made me stop smoking completely. The day I got my ego twist I stopped. A week later I got my MVP 2.0 and I bought a kanger mega tank and a pro tank as well as a nice selection of juices. Its been a month now and my life has improved drastically. I will never smoke again. I also took up exercising and eating well, and I feel like a million bucks. I don't have phelm (sp?) in my throat anymore. I don't wheeze after minimal physical work. I don't smell. I don't religiously pop breathe mints in my mouth all day.

Its Saturday. I just finished my 3 mile jog and had a shower and Im just sitting in my living room having a vape and listening to some music. Life is good. I feel healthy and happy, I owe this to vaping.

Keep going brother!
