September 10th. Smoked as usual in the morning and got my first kit in the mail at 10 AM. Started vaping at 10:30 AM and haven't had a regular smoke since. My first kit was an 510 cigalike and by the following day I knew it wasn't just going to do the job for long. Ordered an ego 650 with C4 clearomizer and I'm using that now. Might be a bit early to swear I've quit but so far, so good. I smoked at least a pack a day for 43 years and had tried other ways to quit. Of them all this is the only one that's ever given me any hope and I can't believe how easy it's been.

I quit analogs June 26 2013 although I have quit before for long periods of time, 2 years was the longest. I used nicotine patches and they worked quite well until I got to the 2nd week of the 7mg patches! I was craving cigarettes 24/7 and decided to get an ecig before I picked up my husbands cigarettes! I have been using the disposable Blu ecigs for a few weeks and they were ok, so I got a starter kit and am not really thrilled with it but it's keeping me off analogs. I am hoping to learn more so I can set myself up with a satisfying vape experience and to stay off analogs for good.

I've quit smoking about six or seven times over the last three decades. Gum, patches, Zyban, Chantix, nic inhalers, you name it. Although it's only been a few weeks off analogs for me, I'm feeling pretty confident. It's getting easier every day, unlike the other times I tried (with the exception of the Chantix). I have high hopes!

40 year 2+ pad smoker. Tried quitting for years with every other method out there. Even tried cigalikes(njoys) and couldn't stand them. Then ran into someone who had a decent setup and tried it. Wow!! Did 2 weeks of research on here, found a local store and bought an evic. Haven't picked one up since. Just over a month analog free. After trying for so long to quit it was almost scary how easy it was to move to vaping.

Yay everyone! I'm on day 10 - vaping has made all the difference for me. I've quit so many times and never longer than 6 days. This time is different. Although I have thought about smoking a cigarette, it's been so easy to actually NOT go buy a pack. The thing that concerns me is that I'm essentially doing the same thing as I did while smoking...so I'm not actually kicking the habit, just doing it differently. But the "differently" is different enough: I feel so much better, physically, already. My lungs are happier than they've been in years.

I quit smoking for the longest time in my life thanks to Vaping
never going back ! ! !

Same here. Never thought it would be possible for me cause I'm a bit of a weak ...... But there you go. Electronic cigarettes are quite an amazing delivery system. Wonder how long before you can get multi vitiman packed ejuice? Or even teeth whitening ejuice?

I find that I still go out for the occasional smoke break at work, I think for me it is more of an excuse to get away for a bit from the stresses of work. Although I do go outside every now and then at home. It seems like my vape tastes better after a real smoke. Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet with a good enough hit.

6 days ago I smoked my last cigarette as I was driving to the local vape shop. Picked up my kit and have not had one since. This is the easiest I have ever quit after 10 years of smoking with 3 failed attempts in my past. I do think about it once in a while but a chain vape session normally fixes that. The only thing that is hard is that with a cigarette there was a definite start and end to it where with vaping there is not.
