My wife and I were 1 1/2 pack a day smokers. We started vaping in April of this year and have not smoked since. She does not use her inhaler anymore, and I dont wheeze and cough up lung biscuits. Not to mention smelling like S#*t. We are so glad E cigs were introduced to us. Not sure how much longer my wife and I would have been able to breath without a oxygen bottle.

I haven't found a vaping device that will thwart my desires for an analog when i'm inebriated... If anyone knows of a device that will quench that desire, give me a link asap..

I think you need high Nic with a Genesis Atty to take care of that thump in the throat and a juice that tastes more like a smokey cigarette.

After my trial and errors on finding the right set-up and juice. I quit analogs and that part was more easier then quitting the habit or routine you get in with cigarettes. Like driving you crack the window, reach for the lighter/ smokes and then realize hey I got my vapor now and there is several other things or routines you did that now you find yourself saying I don't have to do this any more. To me these thing made it hard to readjust and quit them too.

I think I quit smoking! It's been a week since I last rolled a cigarette. I find myself restless and heading to the back door out of habit, stop and re-tell myself I'm not smoking anymore, that's still happening often. Switching to vaping has mostly been incredibly easy. I feel a long road ahead of me, after 20+ years of smoking, trying to stay focused on the day, the moment.

Yes!! Vaping has definitely helped me to quit smoking ciggys.

I smoked for 20+ years and tried to quit a few times before. Every time I quit, I would start back up and smoke more than before. I have always wanted a way to smoke without the unhealthy side effects. This has given me exactly what I had always hoped for..... a way to smoke WHEN and IF I want to. I am no longer under the control of an addiction. This is great!

Keep it up,l smoked 30+ years but after 2 or 3 weeks those analog habits start to fade. It's been 6 months since I touched an analog, don't even think of them anymore and the coughing and shortness of breath are gone. Money saving not so much yet due to buying new toys for vaping. But in a couple of weeks you will be fine and really glad you quit.

I halfheartedly tried quitting for about six to eight months with V4L Titan cig-a-like, but smoked every day. Since I bought my eGo-T kit however many days ago (in my sig, I forget), I've had one cigarette which was two days after I quit. Pretty amazing since I never really tried quitting before in 20 years, but figured I'd give it a real chance.

Since I've found a lot of different toppers and the itaste MVP, but I still use the eGo batteries I orginally bought to this day. Having a vape with my 650mAh vv battery right now in fact. :thumb:

I will say that the cig-a-likes helped me transition, I don't think I could have bought an eGo-T kit and just quit like I did without them. I got familiar with the function and found the flavors I liked, as well as the MG level I needed. These are key to quitting and staying quit IMO. There is a lot to learn with vaping, but if you have the basics down you'll be fine if you really want to quit.
