May 10th 2013. Had two molars extracted and bone grafts in preparation for dental implants ...

Tried to smoke an hour later, felt like a spike was being driven into my head. Don't EVER try to smoke with an open tooth socket !

By the time I could smoke again, I had figured out that vaping is a far superior delivery system for nicotine, and a hell of a lot cheaper (well, after the initial impulse buying ...)

Can't imagine going back to analogs ...

Smoked 43 years.

Quit smoking 9/29/11 using a cig-a-like e-cig. I've moved on since then to "bigger and better" PVs (subjectively speaking). Anyway...I'd tried lots of quitting techniques and "aids". Tried cold turkey too. Nothing worked until e-cigs came into my life.

Haven't had a cigarette in 2 years.

I am proud and thankful to the work that all authoritative people have put into the vaping equipment/juice/knowhow etc as Vaping has been the solution to my smoking habit that lasted 15 or so years. It's been 3 years now that I have been vaping and I am never going back!!! :) In addition, I have been gradually decreasing my nic concentration to 0 % so as to slowly fight the addiction itself. I will continue to vape my 0% DIY solutions as I really njoy the act and the taste of the flavours!

Always by ur side
Been smoking for 13 years
Nv think of quitting as I enjoy it.
Accidentally saw a movie where this guy was vaping an e-cig
Got excited an start researching
Choose to believe vaping is much more better than smoking and I still can enjoy the hand to mouth action with vapor coming out from my mouth
Got an ego with atomizer and cartridge on 08/08/2011
From them on, life is difference or colorful?

I smoked a pack to 1.5 packs per day for 17 years. Started vaping a month and a half ago on the Evod BCC. I was still smoking an analog or two per day and then got the Provari last Friday. :vapor: For some reason, I had an analog last Friday night, but haven't had one since. So if this streak lasts, I guess I can say I quit smoking on September 13, 2013. That's Friday the 13'th... Hmm... Not sure if that's lucky or unlucky... Oh well, I'll take it. :D

started vaping June 25th, 2013. last analog July 25th, 2013. and only 6 total anologs in that first month - just finished off the last pack I had very slowly. happily smoke free now for 54 days. w00t!

:vapor:

I had tried to quit many times in my 25 year smoking career and vaping is the only thing that has gotten me over the 30-day hump. as long as I can vape, i will NEVER go back to cigarettes.

They say that quitting cigarettes is very hard. Poor things. they dont know e-cigarettes or afraid of them. Poor poor things

I didn't realize how hard quitting was until I tried it. Even with vaping. Nevertheless, I succeeded and now, I have been totally smoke-free for several months. I don't have cravings anymore. And I noticed that I actually vape a little less as time goes on. No more withdrawal symptoms or sudden cravings (mine came at odd hours, like 4 in the morning and I could not sleep because of them).

I quit after 52 years of smoking and it wasn't intentional. Someone suggested that might want to try an e cig and maybe cut down on my cigar smoking and that there was an E cig store around the corner. I said what the heck and made a visit and seeing all the gadgets,( I'm a gadget nut) I just couldn't resist and bought an ego starter set. Lo and behold within a month I had quit completely. I haven't saved any money with this "hobby" yet but will. It sure has been fun and frustrating as the same time.
