i recently bought a EVOD 650 battery,first one and i notice that ALL the evod i have seen pictures of just say EVOD on the side and mine says kangertech...is mine an older model,knock off??

I've got 2 of the 650's that have the Kanger emblem on the baseplate.

Might just be branding. Who knows? could be the same could be a knockoff. Yours however does have kanger on the side so no need to worry
yeah mine has the emblem on the base as well, but on the side,it not only say EVOD,like you can se on the 2 pic it was the emblem and kangertech EVOD,have you seen one like that before??
I wouldn't worry about it. I've seen eVod clearomizers, genuine from Kanger, with and without their logos. Kanger has not been very consistent with branding their products.
If you purchased from a reputable vendor and they were listed as Kanger eVods, they most likely are. And even if they are not, do they work well? Some of the knockoffs are just as good as the real thing. Others are horrid though...

Im wouldnt be so much worried... its not like in america where a brand have a distinctive quality... in china, mostly, the name almost relate to a "product type"... so almost everything is cloned. If it works as intended, no much ado.
Yours could be the genuine one, and the pic knock offs. But as someone already said, kanger can be a bit inconsistent. If it works, then you needn't stress
