Bev (sir or Ms.?) welcome to the board. :)

Usually would have jumped right on this but was doing a few things so do apologize. :)

Vapor king batts- These feature a 12-13second cut off time on the current generation. They have the old cell technology which means while they start at 4.2v or so depending on the charger, they quickly drop to 3.7v and hang around there for a bit before dropping lower and needing a recharge. They feature a grey plastic ash cap over the led.

King diamond and Stealth series autos- These feature a 20.8 second cut off on average, have a newer (and better) cell in comparison to that of the vapor king line. They hold their voltage longer than any batt before them. They either have no led on the stealth, or a gem covering the led on the king diamond line. They also feature a better switch, better draw, and slightly better battery life in comparison to the vapor king line.

Last but not least is the manual king diamond and stealth series batts. Can't comment yet on the stealth because they were just released today, but they should feature the same technology. These have a 10-11 second cut off, feature their best cells to date, and do and even better job of holding their voltage in comparison the the previous batts. These are simply put the best that V4L has released thus far. The draw is the equal to a king diamond regular auto (manuals are sealed, autos unsealed, so there is less airflow on them. The airflow is consistent on each size, where as with autos the shorties have the best airflow and it gets a bit more restricted as you increase the size of the batt). The button is the most responsive to date as well.

I'll bump a few threads for you showing the differences. :)

Bev135, welcome!
I suspect you are new to vaping, as I am. If you are bewildered (as I initially was) about voltages, and cutoffs lemme tell you what that really means:

higher voltage generally means the vapor will be thicker and warmer (all other things being equal, esp. carto's)

cutoff means when does the battery stop energizing during one big draw/puff. I rarely hit ANY cutoff, and I have a wide variety of batts.

The Diamond and Stealths are "next generation" technology as Moriandir said. So, in a sense, the older generation batts won't perform quite as well, but at the right price can be an excellent value.

HTH.

Thanks for the great info!
I have several of the King batteries in regular and XL. I've been quite happy with them. I haven't run into the cut-off times or anything.
Next time I order a battery I might try a Diamond -- always good to have longer life, even if it's a small difference! And the more consistant voltage level would be nice. But I didn't want to pay extra just for the "jewel" -- really don't care about that.
The Stealth batteries could be handy sometimes. But I rather like the information that the LED gives you about the battery being dead or being successfully plugged into the charger and I think I would miss that with no LED.
Maybe I'll try one next time there is a good sale.
Thanks again!
