One thing I can tell you is BAKERO is not a wick but its a resistance flat wire that works wonders as a coil.
Silica is a wicking material.
Ekowool is braided Silica.
Cotton is 100% cotton also good for wicking purposes but a little process is involve like boiling etc...

The evolution of wicking juice to the coil.

I say you try it your self , do your research on each item since each one requires more simple steps before use and then you judge for your self which one works for you.

Just a piece of advice . Do not believe everything you hear or read . Try it . Good Luck .

haven't tried bakero but i have flat kanthal... basically the same thing. Its good because it covers a lot of surface area. Silica is ok but ekowool is a better quality silica. I used it and it was good, but i just moved to cotton. Better flavor so far and cheap as dirt... obviously don't dry burn it. Im running a dual coil on an IGO-W with flat kanthal and cottton.
