What is your favorite wick material?

I have been lookin for an alternative to silica wick for my dripper. What is your favorite wicking material between silica, ekowool, cermic, hemp, ss mesh and cotton? Why? And where do you get it?

SS mesh by far. More finicky than silica or cotton, but the flavor is unbeatable in my opinion.

Wick, Wire, RBAs

little bit of a pain setting up drippers but once running they stay clean a long time.

you may also want to try some of the microcoils with cotton many love this setup in drippers.

right now peaches n cream white cotton yarn, because it is cheap and all i have lol

I'd like to try SS mesh and get some more silica and eko wool. I also want to try cotton ball

and the worst? yes it's been tried..no wick at all and imo only marginally worse than porous ceramic.

For a dripper - cotton all day long. Maybe bamboo if you feel adventurous.

Another vote for cotton here. It comes with its own set of problems, but IMO, it is the easiest to work with out of mesh, silica/eko, and cotton. I haven't tried any other wicking materials, so I can only speak for those 3.

Micro coils/cotton. All other setups just didn't give me that ....damn this is good....feeling and left all my juices tasting rather bland.
