Difference between Silica wick for RBA with Silica wick

Hi, is there any difference between a silica wick for rba with silica wick?

I'm a newbie thinking of going into rba after reading tons of info in ECF on RBAs and I want to make sure I got all the items correct before wetting my feet.

If there is a link to a beginners guide for rba would be great. :D

It's all the same - some people call it silica, others call it silica wick.

There are different type of materials that can be used in wicking an atomizer. Most prebuilt atomizers or atomizer heads (the item you replace in your cartomizer/glassomizer) use silica as the wicking material. Individuals who rebuild their own coils can also use silica but they often use ekowool, organic cotton or stainless steal mesh as their wicking material.
