Difference between singlecoil setup & doublecoil setup?

Combing through threads here and I wanted to know what the differences were between these two setups and what each one does.

Single-coil uses a single (one) coil on one wick.

Dual-coil uses two coils on two wicks.

SC is "standard" for RBAs. I see very few people running a DC setup. DC uses more of your battery's capacity and theoretically produces more vapor, but lack of vapor is seldom a complaint with a SC setup on a typical RBA.
