I have been very happy and satisfied using the Vapor King Extra Long Battery Manual with Single Logo and the Cool Cart cartomizer using a 26mg juice for almost 2 years.

I have order a couple of Diamond XL manual batteries and I find them to be harsh.

Soooo.....a couple of questions:

1. Is there a difference between the two batteries? If so, what is the difference?

2. If I lower the nicotine to 18mg will the taste smooth out with the Diamond XL? Will there be a big difference in the "throat hit?"

3. Will the older model XL continue to be available in the future?

Or is it all just my imagination?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Tom

Hey Tom...

When it comes down to the nuts and bolts or in this case voltage the answer is No. Both batteries basically come off the charger at 4.1 - 4.2v. However, I do believe that the Diamond Series do have a more airy draw to them which in your case may affect your particular experience when it comes to Throat Hit. There are a few other subtle differences in the switch itself and the cut off times, but that is irrelevant when it comes to Throat Hit.

I'd say anything that could help you cut down on your Nic Mg levels would be a good thing...I'd roll with it and step down a notch and see what happens.

Nwit sir if you mean between the xl ashcaps and the xl king diamonds, very much so. The kd/stealths have a different cell and ic. They last longer than the previous batts, and hold their voltage better. The ashcap version will continue to be stocked as far as I know...
If you find out for sure can you tell us here ? Thanks ! I still like em and FB said they are not available anymore ....:(

I did ..all I see is the stealth and diamonds ...must be blind lol

lol.......ok, do you see catagory? count 6 down to E Cig Batteries. Don't go past that to Original Vaper King Battery. When the little hand appears click there........the ash cap's are on that page. (Sorry I don't know how to do links)

Nancy, I much prefer the ash-cap XL manuals to the Diamond XL batteries. I hope they
don't discontinue the ash-cap types. I don't like the airy draw of the diamonds..and I
believe the throat hit on the ash-caps is better. Glad you found them. Even though
I knew where they were listed, I STILL had trouble finding them. V4L Please fix the
battery section on the site. Thanks!

Hmmm. I must be fairly insensitive to draw "airyness"-- I don't notice a difference between the manual ash-caps and the manual Diamonds.

I always use drip tips, though -- could that be the difference? Do you guys use DTs?

LOL, I will throw something else into the mix..........I do notice a difference with the auto's, ash caps being better than diamonds. I don't really notice it between the manuals. I do use a dt on everything! My personal opinion is dt provide's more TH and I want/need and struggle for that! :) Maybe we should start another thread lol

Hi Eleanor!! I have one drip tip. I tried....I really did. I just don't like the drip tips. The XLs I use are long enough, I feel "funny" using the drip tip too.

(Just can't teach this old dog new tricks!)
