@supertrunker "depends on your budget" Know how much gear I'd have if this wasn't an issue?
I would even argue budget can get you a VERY well performing authentic new or used Mechanical Mod especially more and more these days. The Poldiac Nanos is under $100 brand new shipped from Greece with an almost hybrid Rhodium over brass contacts that has a very nice magnetic locking switch.. This was unheard of just a year ago and they are always in stock. Just to name one the K100's are another very well performing device.Yep.
My point about budget is that you can get a good vape from a K100, but you'll not get the magnetic switches and engraving of say a Stingray. I'm well aware of vaping on limited money, but i also know what i used to spend on cigarettes.

I am not sure spending over $1000 on Clones indicates someone on a budget?

I think it is important to point out that money well spent on well made devices is the best choice for those on a budget I am glad to see threads on here that point to Authentic mods with confirmed quality and proven track record. Before someone goes and buys Cheap, Cloned, or poorly made mech mods consider whether you are gambling with quality and consider how long a well made device will last you.

Well your opinion is certainly noted but most of the mods on both lists are pretty proven and yes they are not clones.. but they are almost all pretty darn tried and tested. As far as authenticity sure some are very close replicas of originals but for someone on a budget that feels they need to buy a ripped off logo and shoddy workmanship these lists are great places to start to avoid those things.I don't know what you're smoking in your hookah there, caterpillar, but ya oughta share it over here. It's gotta be good. Those threads aren't about "Authentic mods with confirmed quality and proven track record". They are just lists of mods that some people don't think of as copies. Nothing to do with quality whatsoever. And not really a whole lot of authenticity, either.
I think we can agree that in order to get real top quality and truly authentic mods many of the mods on these lists are not quite there but then again these lists are a good start for people on a budget.I don't know what you're smoking in your hookah there, caterpillar, but ya oughta share it over here.
