Not sure what you mean by "slow" or "fast".. Ti and Ni have different temp curves and their response can depend on the mod, the wattage and temperature being used.
When inhaling Nickel for a couple of seconds the draw decreases. When inhaling titanium the draw stays the same.

If by "draw" you mean the vapor production, I would look at the wattage setting you are using. Using high wattage on TC coils can, depending on the mod used, create a up/down wave cycle of power being applied to the coil and make for inconsistency in the vape.

Clone of an iPV2.. You are at the lower end of the temp settings so I would expect vapor production to be somewhat minimal. If you open up the airflow all the way, does the behavior change? And have you locked in the coil resistance on the Trident with the coil at room temperature?
That will create BIG problems for a TC mod. (I had to Google your mod and it looks like an iPV2 clone - one site referred to it as such - and did find that it is supposed to support TC.) TC mods read the coil resistance when firing to calculate the temperature, since Ni and Ti change resistance when heated. The mod needs to know the base resistance of the cold coil and have that locked in memory to be able to calculate the current temp of the coil when firing.
Please check the documentation for the Trident again for locking coil resistance. If it doesn't mention it and you can't find anything through a Web search for it, I would not attempt to use it as a TC mod.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust it in Temp Control mode then. Don't know why they would think they could skip resistance locking on a TC mod..
