Generally IMHO, I have noticed that most of them generally just knock each other off as soon a a new tank/atomizer/mod comes out. Most of the knock offs come out of China, but are sold by many places around the world.
I have a bag of about 5 tanks/atomizers that I do not use any more as I didn't like them for a variety of reasons (taste, flooding, etc...)
But that being said, once you find one you like, you will probably stick with it (or that is what I did).
Expensive or not it does not really matter . . . one of my favorite tanks costs $3 (USD) out of China. (haha $2 for new heads)

It is not necessarily a matter of leaking, or that putting them in will destroy your tank instantaneously. These flavors have ingredients which chemically react in plastic tanks. It may take weeks for your tank to degrade - but all the while there is a pretty nasty leaching of BPA happening in there...

Short version:
BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s.

BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles. They may also be used in other consumer goods.

Epoxy resins are used to coat the inside of metal products, such as food cans, bottle tops and water supply lines. Some dental sealants and composites also may contain BPA.

Some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children.

However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that BPA is safe at the very low levels that occur in some foods. This assessment is based on review of hundreds of studies.

For some reason my Evods taste different from my PT2s (and PT2 mini), even though the only substantial difference is in material of the tank. I have no idea why. It might have something to do with air flow, possibly the feel of the mouthpiece, placebo/bias, and conceivably the chemistry of the tank. Personally, I prefer the PTs.

Ok thank you for the lessons what juices will destroy a evod since im using one i rather ask then find out

It's best to ask the ejuice vendor. Just because a juice is a "tank cracker flavor" doesn't necessarily mean it will crack the tank. Many juices are combined with other flavors. One should proceed with caution however.

For this reason ^^^ I no longer use my Evods.
