I always thought more VG percentage meant more vapour and less throat hit. I had been using 80/20 vg/pg and it was okay, giving a bit of a throat hit. Then I tried some snake oil from mastermind elixors and online it says was 50/50 vg/pg and I am getting much better vapour and almost no throat hit. Also I must add that I have an evod blister with those ego style batteries, not too powerful like a mod or anything. Is the 50/50 better suited for my Evod? Or could that flavor not have been 50/50?

True.

Some flavors give more throat hit than others (i.e. cinnamon & citrus).

From a wicking standpoint, 50/50 will work better than higher VG on an Evod due to its "pin sized" airholes.

I'd use 50/50 in an evod, The thing about it's coils is they might have a little trouble wicking thick eliquids. If you take your bottle of higher vg liquid and run it under some hot water the juice will thin out a bit as it gets warmer and that will help a little with wicking.

Nicotine changes the throat kick as well. 18mg/24mg nic will hit the back of your throat like a donkey kick.

Different eliquid producers use different kind of vg and pg from their different sources most of the time. So the when your vaping tons of different eliquids from different vendors and different brands, chances are they will be pretty different in terms of vape, flavor production, and throat hit. Even when the pg/vg ratio stays the same or changes a little.
