Differences in gauges?

I have been vaping for about two months now and kinda jumped on with both feet when I started. I immediately went with mech mods and rebuildables. I have watched dozens of YouTube videos and read hundreds of posts since starting so I feel I have a good grasp on how to build coils, battery safety, etc. I have gone sub ohm most of this time but recently started trying 1.0 and 1.25 ohm in my kayfuns.

One thing I haven't been able to find is the differences in gauges. I understand the lower gauge (thicker wire) the less resistance. Say I built a 1.25 ohm compressed coil using 1.5mm Allen wrench with 30, 28, 26, and 24 gauge (I know this would take like 30 wraps and probably wouldn't fit into kayfun) what would the difference in vapor be? Which would have more flavor? More vapor? Throat hit? Etc...

I am currently running 28ga 9 wraps in one kayfun and 12 wraps in another.

I use 3 coils

1) 6 wraps of 28 on a 5/64 micro coil style (.7)
2) 5 wraps braided 32ga (4 pieces of 32) micro style on the 5/64 (.6)
3) 5 wraps of twisted 28ga micro on 5/64 (.4)

the twisted 28 is the thickest and gives a thick vapor with nice warmth, little slower heat up but not bad

the braided 32 rips, thick vapor and taste amazing. fires really fast

the 6 wrap of 28 also fires fast but less warmth and less thick of a vape

I like all three but the braided 32ga is the best I have tried. thinking about grabbing some 24 or 26ga to try

Up until 3 days ago I was running 30 ga double barrel builds in both at .6 and .7. I didn't get much flavor from these. Produced a lot if vapor but b flavor wasn't the.

I ran out of 32 ga but tried the twisted when I got these and didn't like it. Will have to try again now that I can build em better.

What's the difference? Do u have a "how to" for the braided? I youtubed it and couldn't find anything. I used 3 pieces when I twisted mine but just put em in drill and twisted it.

like how girls braid their hair. Its a pain in the ..... Performance is great though. my 4 strand braided 32 is my hardest hitter at .6ohm

dont have 30, the guy that told me about it uses 30ga though. just 3 strands for his braids.

the braids cover a good area but have gaps and roughness that really seems to get things blastings.
