+1 for 1.8 ohm build on the Kayfun. I have found that anything below 1.2 or so causes problems with it not being able to wick enough juice to keep up. IMO the Kayfun is a flavor device; if you want clouds, get a dripper. The right tool for the right job and all that...
Just built my first usable Kayfun micro coil tonight. Came out at 1.7 ohms. Using organic cotton, and running on a Tesla. All in all, I'm quite happy! I'm thinking it only gets better from here! Is it true that 1.5 ohms is about as low as I can go with a VV/VW device?
Depends on the device really. Most will tell you somewhere what the limit is. The DNA's have a .5 limit and the Segelie 20w has is advertised as having a .6-.5 limit. I only say that because in my experience nothing under .8 has ever worked on mine.
And to answer the OP I prefere a simple dual coil micro coil at .7-.8 ohms on my kayfun
