It has come to my attention, once again that I don't show the Love and Patience of God, when I am speaking to unsaved people on this forum. Now I go with 'the Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword.' 'The Word of God will not come back void.'

I have a quick and to the point approach....especially if one of my Christian Sisters are being attacked. I have that maternal instinct and the hair stands up on my head, and I am a very unhappy camper.

Lisa, on the other hand has a smooth demeaner, but takes no garbage.

SG always seems to be calm and philosophical.

And others take different approaches.....and so on. Should a code of standards be drawn up? But then that would take away the individuality, wouldn't it? I guess I'm asking Lisa where the line is, so that we all know it and know not to cross it. It's like all the different styles of Christian music to reach all people....not just a few. I apologize upfront for putting you on the spot, Lisa.

I'm weary of being labeled a meanie. It's almost just not worth it, but I'm not dropping out of the race as this period in history is an extremely important one. I want people to know the truth as there is so much junk out there. The truth is all important. What say you?

You're not a meanie SC, not even close. I wouldnt' worry about what a few people think, but if you are worried about it, take it to God in prayer. He will give you the answers you're looking for.

People are just people, and we all have different personalities and different ways of saying things. I offend people too sometimes, we all do, it's just part of life and being a human being.

You have a heart of gold, and you really do come from a loving place. If some can't see that, then that's their own problem. :)

If God has already changed you into what He wants you to be, why would you be interested in changing into something that someone else would ascribe to?

Huh?

Because I never cared what people thought about me until I got saved. I realized that I am an Ambassador for Jesus, and I am putting His foot forward, not mine.

I love Peter, ya know? He always put both feet into his mouth before he realized it.....like,

"Oh Lord, we have to keep You from going into Jerusalem!" It seemed like the right thing to say. Jesus had just said He was going to get murdered, my words, when He goes into Jerusalem.

Then Jesus said, "Peter, satan is speaking through you." I can only imagine how I would have felt, then multiply it by a million for Peter.

However, having said that, I don't apologize for my passion for Jesus. I am zealous and I say what I mean and mean what I say. That is just me. Lisa, you are a sweetheart for Jesus and you are doing an awesome job here on this board. God has you right where you are doing the best good for His Kingdom. SG, you are one patient dude. I so admire that about you. You remind me a little of my mom because she would always let us have our say so we wouldn't explode.....but then say, "Yes, BUT.......blah blah blah." That is a big compliment in the event you couldn't get past the word mom.

Okay, I was relying on the truth of friends. It never hurts to take inventory. I have been communicating with Mr. Sticks and he seems like such a nice fellow, with a good personality. I like him. I hope he sticks around.

Okay fine. I'll keep on keeping on.......okay.......who am I again?

God made us who we are and yet we continue to grow in him from glory to glory. What once would have been fine for me to do, once the Holy Spirit has spoken to me about it, it's up to me to do something about it and not grieve the One who spoke to me. Will we get it perfected here, most likely not, lol!

I love your compassionate and protective spirit SC, your encouragement and praise of God...we are all learning here. Sometimes it's easier for us in the body to correct each other, trying to hit a home run with our point only to find ourselves getting discouraged when the runner only makes it to first base. For some reason it seems harder to take them to God and leave the correction with him, the author and finisher of our faith. I am reminded of a few passages in dealing with believers and non believers alike:

1 Peter 3
8) Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. 9) Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10) For,
"Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
11) He must turn from evil and do good;
he must seek peace and pursue it.
12) For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
13) Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14) But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." 15) But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16) keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 17) It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

You are a precious soul sis SC....and much loved. I pray that brother Stick will "stick" around, I believe he has something to add to our group....as we all grow together in the Lord.

Be Blessed :)

Saintscruiser... I'm not on here as much as most. But I've never seen you be mean. I wouldn't consider having a strong opinion or belief as mean. As for a code of conduct... you don't need one and I don't want one. :)
So rather than resort to more "Law", let's just apply lots of Grace. K?

I'm not kidding......you guys have completely overwhelmed me. You humble with your words as all the Praise and Honor goes to Jesus! I.....am speechless........and that's a feat in itself....a miracle, even. Thank You All! I don't know what to say.......I guess then I should shut up. Thanks for the kleenex, Lisa, my dear Sister, who knows me better than my blood sister. I love you all....

St Cruiser God doesn't make errors and he sure didn't when he made you. We all have our own approach and I think it's so everyone and every mindset can be reached. You are just a soldier in Gods army and a good one at that.

Couldn't have said it better myself...love you MamaBear SC :)
