Oh snap!!!!!!!! Who told you my age??????????????????? I'm pretty well preserved for only being 125 years old.....on each side.

SC, I intended to send you a PM this morning, but I forgot to hit the "remember me" button when I signed on. Long story short, my message got et' up by the impatient internet.
Since we are public right now, and since that seems most appropriate, I would like to tell you something that I slept on last night- I'm sorry. I'll detail it more in a PM later, along with an amusing story about Brett, but in front of the others I would like to say to you that I did come off in a harder tone than was excusable.
Perhaps in this thread we should discuss privately bringing up disagreements, and publicly bringing up reconciliation. I would still have stood up for the poster in the thread that brought our conversations up, but I would do it differently, with consideration to both parties, if I could. I may have been right to bring my argument to the table, but I was assuredly wrong in the way I did it. I read in some tattered scripture last night that I should have taken an aside, if I had an argument with you. I did not do that until after the fact, and that was wrong of me. It is, after all, supposed to be one on one, then both in the presence of a spiritual mentor, and I skipped a few steps. "I'm sorry". I'm still practicing saying that.
Mr Stick....I LOVE the Jesus in you! I am so excited to continue in his grace and glory with you here....
We can still lynch if you like Gent, but you'll have to relegate the noose to the same quiet corner that I will from now on
Perhaps when we want to burn each other down for a moment, we ought to just post a quoted response of "Redacted", and then, in love, naturally, PM until we find common ground or need to call an adult to the table to mediate. I'm sure SC and I are on the right track, and I'm sure God is working in it.
Further, I'd say that if anyone notices another losing their cool, it would not be out of the question, as a third party, to post a "You might want to message with who-so-ever, and then get back to the thread". Just a thought. Ideas?
Y'all just need to be a lot less hysterical. Nearly any time of the day, when clicking on "Today's Posts", the resultant first page has a half dozen freaking out, OMG, the sky is falling, we're going to God in the sky while the rest of humanity goes through Hell on Earth.
Aren't we so pleased with ourselves that we've escaped the forsaken's fate!
The primary impression of this group isn't mainstream Christians, it's radical christians.
It irritates me to see the fundamentalist crap every time I click on "Today's Posts". Get a life.
She's a doomsday prophet. They've been around for thousands of years.
This is primarily LisaLisa's doing. Ditch her, she doesn't represent Christians in a good light.

No worries, I only lost one nights sleep, and it was a growth experience. When I add up the weight of my insomnia, that night is on the plus side. What do we do next? I am the newbie in the forum, so I'd like to see where consensus leads.
I'll get that Brett story to you soon enough![]()
Just start reading threads and leaving comments or begin new ones. We're a pretty neat family, here.
P. S. Don't bash the Moderator.![]()

I won't bash anyone, but I might moderate the moderator, moderately, and in a modest sense![]()
