Hello, I made a visit to one of my local B&Ms to pick up another clearomizer for my vv v3.0. I was going to pick up another I clear 16B, but the owner suggested that the Aspire BDC ET-S was better. I have been using these two brands going on a couple weeks now and to be honest I don't think there has been any great difference in taste or performance with these two brands or models. I have been using these tanks set on 8 watts and both brands seem to be producing a satisfying vape for my taste. I know locally that the 16B is a few dollars cheaper then the Aspire, but it does make me wonder if there is that great of differences between allot of these stock clearomizers.

Most of the difference in these devices is personal preference and placebo effect. New tanks always taste a little better and of course it's always better for salesmen if you constantly try newer and more expensive tanks. My Iclear 30 still has had the same coil and wick for two months. It still has good flavor and vapor.

When you can determine that you'll know if you want a better tank or not. :)

I still have the same wicks in all three of my toppers and Wednesday will be two weeks for the 16Bs and a few days less for the aspire. They all are reading proper ohms as well.

I have a aerotank and a fogger v4. I use the aerotank as my daily use and the fogger on those hard to get through times which are getting less and less the longer I go. I will admit the flavor and vape from the fogger is quite amazing and different that my aerotank but Its actually a little to much for my personal liking. I say if your current tank is satisfying your needs no since in changing.

Ive only bought 2 tank upgrades and 1 mod upgrade since I started vaping. Hopefully I wont have to keep upgrading like some people do in order to stay satisfied.

I know what you mean about upgrading. As a new guy you can't help wondering if you are getting the best vape from your juice. With this being said I can say that between the Aspire and the 16bs I don't feel there is very much or any difference. Of course this is just my opinion YMMV.

IMHO, clearomizers are all about the same. They are a very simple design meant for novice vapors or intermediate vapers who want the convenience of easy fill/easy replacement coil changes. They can be very inconsistant (dry or burnt hits, flooding, gurgling, juice in the mouth or leaking on the battery) and often mute flavors. Hard to expect a tiny silica wick to carry enough e-liquid to the coil consistantly, and for the tiny coils to vaporize all of the e-liquid. A longer gentler draw technique works better than a short hard draw.

You'll get better performance and consistancy the higher up the chain of juice attachments you try. In return, they may require more setup time or have a higher learning curve to get better flavor and vapor.
