Different flavor?

I have the Evolution X (basically an Ego-T?). Using the big atomizer on it with the tank cartridge. I'm getting some really good flavor out of the Evolution with several different liquids. Tonight I tried one of the standard 510 atomizers with a drip tip using the same flavors, and not getting anywhere near the flavor as I am with the tank atomizer (liquids are very "perfumy"). Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? To the best of my knowledge, both are SR atty's and I did blow them out and prime them.

I am not familiar with your equipment but I can tell you that it is perfectly normal for flavors to taste totally different on different mods/cartos/attys I started using dual coil cartos a few months back and some flavors that I did not even like before taste great with these
